3 DIY Holiday Charm Gifts For Your Besties!

Hey All!

We’re back with the holiday DIY’s and we’re going to keep it going until 2 days before Christmas! Hold on to your ugly holiday sweaters, because we got a bunch a cuteness coming your way all day every day. Today we’re sharing these 3 DIY Holiday Charm Gifts For Your Besties! Aren’t they the cutest thing ever! I’m obsessed withe the little gangsta gingerbread man and roller skate stocking! These were created as a fun collaboration with my buddies Liz Harry Designs. I just love her fun and colorful designs. I pitched her my ideas and what I wanted for the charms and together this is what we came up with. I’m sure all your besties who get these fun gifts for the holidays will love them!

I mean who wouldn’t love this charm bracelet?! I know I would!

Here is how to make 3 fun gifts with these printable charms for your bestie.

First you’ll DOWNLOAD and PRINT our free printable charms onto your Shrink Film Paper! To make small charms, in your print settings you can scale the images down to 50-60%. If you want them larger in size, leave as is. You can make them as big or as small as you’d like. For multi-charm bracelets you’ll want smaller charms.

After you’ve printed out all your charms in every size you’d like, You cut each out charm carefully with your scissors. You’ll then use your hole punch to punch a few holes into the ring top of your charms. This is what you’ll pull your bracelet or necklace through.

Then you’ll follow the instructions on the Shrink Film and bake your charms in the oven for about 3 minutes at 325 to 350 degrees. You should use a piece of the scrap pieces you cut away from your charms to test your oven to see how long and how hot you need your oven to be in order to make your charms come out perfect.

After your charms are baked and cooled, you then start making your gifts. You can make earrings, multi-charm bracelets, bangles, and necklaces with these amazing charms. You can even make key chains!

First you use your needle nose pliers to open up your circle jump rings.

You’ll open them up like so.

Then you’ll had your earring hook to the jump ring…

You’ll wrap the jump ring around your charm and then press it closed with the pliers.

That’s all you have to do to make the earrings!

You can make as many earrings as you’d like or make them all earrings!

You follow the same process to make necklaces and bracelets, except for the bracelet and necklaces, you’ll add a Lobster Claw Hook to one end and Jump Rings to the other to create a hook and latch for your necklace or bracelet.

You can make the tradition charm bracelet with the chain bracelet or you can make a bangle charm bracelet.

To make the bangle, it depends on the size of your charms. If they are large, you can tie them to the bangles with some thin gold string/thread, as I couldn’t find jump rings large enough to fit them. But if you do, feel free to do that. If the charms are small, you can use the jump rings on your bangles as well.

That’s all you have to do to make these fun gifts for your bestie!

As I mentioned before, you can make this adorable chain charm bracelet by simply making yourself a charm bracelet and pulling the bracelet through your charms.

You don’t need jump rings for this one! They just slip on to your bracelet.

Or you can make some bangles with little charms like so. This one you’ll need either jump rings to fasten the charms to the bangles or string. This is the multi-charm bangle below with small charms.

These ar the large charm bracelets, which are tied on with thin gold thread.

You so can’t tell I know! Love it!

You can also make a necklace and just slip the charm through it. You can do a whole set with necklace and earrings…

Or you can do a charm bracelet and earrings…

They can be matching…

Or a mix of designs…

If that’s all not enough for you, you can even make these into fun key rings to give out! Any way you decide to make these adorable gift ideas, I’m sure your bestie will love them!

Nothing beats a handmade thoughtful gift from your friends!

I hope you like this fun DIY Holiday gift idea as much as I do!

These are so cute! For a while, my husband was trying to only communicate in emojis to my sister. It was really funny to hear about from both of them! As silly as it sounds, I’m tempted to make some of these charms for him and put them on a bookmark or something. Thank you for sharing!
