A Glamorous Stay At The Delano Las Vegas!

Hey All!

I recently was invited on a glamorousĀ  trip to Las Vegas, NV to experience the newly opened MGM Resort called Delano Las Vegas. It was formally “The Hotel” at Mandalay Bay, but it has since undergone a renovation and has been re-branded to fit the style of the Delano Hotel chain for which they are now partnering with. The only other Delano Hotel can be found in South Beach Florida. I had stayed at this hotel and in Mandalay Bay when it was called “The Hotel” some time ago. I was anxious to return Vegas as Mandalay Bay is my favorite place to stay.

I was immediately given the VIP treatment as soon as I arrived in Vegas as a MGM limo was there to pick me up from the airport. I was of course smitten with the limo as gold is one of my favorite colors.

The ride was quick and we arrived at the lavish Mandalay Bay and Delano Hotel located right on the Vegas strip.

When we pulled up to the lobby I instantly noticed the difference in the look of the hotel from the time I previously stayed. The hotel had a new bright dessert chic vibe to it and I was instantly in love.

This rock sculpture that greets you at the entrance is spectacular. The designer of the hotel wanted to incorporate both the Las Vegas desert and the Palm Beach feel into the design of the Delano Las Vegas.

The lobby area is also now very open and spectacular. At the end of the hallway is a fabulous rock sculpture.

The lighting and decor of the lobby area immediately gives you the impression that this is going to be one lavish stay at this hotel.

There are plenty of lounges and waiting areas in the lobby area for you to enjoy in case you arrive early and your room is not ready.

Once my room was ready I could not wait to see what had been done to the rooms. The soothing dim lit hallways line the floors of each room.

My room was a white and gold one bedroom suite masterpiece.

The desk area was beyond fabulous and I wish I could take it home with me. Who wouldn’t want to work at a desk like this? Let’s not forget the fabulous comfortable couch and flat screen tv to sit and relax with.

The bright white bedroom area was also fabulous. I could just stay in this room for my entire time in Vegas and be perfectly happy.

There was a ton of space to put away any clothing you may bring with you. The cabinets seen below were also lit on the inside. The lights turn on as soon as you open the doors.

I absolutely loved this gold side table and sitting area in the bed room area.

The room also had not one but two bathrooms! A dream for me!

Speaking of the bathroom…

It was beyond fabulous. There was so better way to capture it than head on. So say hi to me in the mirror! The marble counter tops…

Jacuzzi bathtub and free standing glass lined shower were all perfection. The bathroom of my dreams.

The robes hanging in the bathroom were also some of the most comfortable robes I’ve ever worn.

The room was immaculately kept each day with the turn down service. The cleaning service would even organize my bathroom products each day.

We also received some fabulous room drops compliments of the hotel which included these delicious cupcakes in honor of Mexican Independence Day! They were beyond gorgeous and tasted out of this world. They were made by the amazing pastry chefs at Mandalay Bay!

The view from the rooms of the hotel are spectacular as you get a view of the Luxor and the Vegas Strip.

The hotel also features some amazing restaurants and food which I will share with you later…

And tucked away in Delano Las Vegas, is the elegant BATHHOUSE Spa! I had the privilege to experience their hot stone massage which was extremely relaxing.

The spa also features steam rooms, saunas, and 12 treatment rooms where you can enjoy massages, wraps and facials. They also offer a complete workout facility.

The spa and the rooms alone make the Delano Las Vegas a completely new Las Vegas resort experience.

The Delano Las Vegas has that rich boutique hotel feeling mixed with the upscale amenities of a lavish resort. It’s a remarkable place to stay and is unlike anything else you will find on the Vegas strip.

If you are looking for a more relaxing and upscale place to stay in Las Vegas that will still keep you in the center of all the action of Las Vegas I highly recommend you check out the Delano Las Vegas. The sooner you book the cheaper stays at the hotel will be.

How amazing is this shot I caught of the Bellagio fountains? I miss Vegas already!
