As you all know I have a fabulous Brite & Bubbly home studio where I work to bring you all these amazing posts each day. The space happens to have a fabulous fire place in it which I’ve been putting to work since we moved in. I love to hang things from it, stick things to it, and decorate it with anything else I can come up with. With all that usage comes some wear and tear. It’s gotten dirty and some cracks have formed in the paint. I’ve been meaning to give it a touch up, but I didn’t have any great painters tape to help me get the product done until now. Thankfully I got some of this amazing FrogTape® brand painter’s tape to get this project done finally.

I got two kinds of tape from FrogTape®. I got the FrogTape® Multi-Surface and FrogTape® Delicate Surface. The FrogTape® Multi-Surface is a medium adhesion painter’s tape designed for use on:
- Cured Painted Walls
- Wood Trim
- Glass
- Metal
FrogTape® Multi-surface painter’s tape will remove cleanly from most surfaces for up to 21 days and seven days in direct sunlight. FrogTape® Delicate Surface is a low adhesion painter’s tape designed for use on:
- Freshly painted surfaces (24 hours old)
- Faux Finishes
- Primed Wallboard
- Wallpaper
FrogTape® Delicate Surface painter’s tape will remove cleanly from most surfaces for up to 60 days. I used the FrogTape® Delicate Surface painter’s tape for this project.
I made sure to tape up each of the edges along the border of the fireplace so that I didn’t mess with the paint along the edges.
With the FrogTape® in position I didn’t have to worry to much about how I was painting as I knew no paint would seep through it thankfully. That’s the main feature I love about this tape. It allows for worry free painting. I proceeded to paint the entire frame around the fireplace area.

It’s Back to it’s lovely perfection as it was when we first moved into our apartment. I of course had to hang my lady boss banner to celebrate.
