Hey All!
With the summer months quickly approaching, I’m already looking for fun cold drinks to keep me and the family cool with. Since we all suffer from belly issues, Iāve always been forced to steer clear of yummy ice cold chocolate or strawberry flavored milks. Thankfully, I don’t have to do that anymore because I have a2 MilkĀ®. Those of us who have āself diagnosedā with lactose intolerance issues may enjoy this milk without any symptoms. I found it at our local grocery store not too long ago and I havenāt drank any other milk since. a2 MilkĀ® is milk the way nature intended and I canāt get enough of it! I wanted to sip on some ice cold milk and instead of turning it into some traditional chocolate or strawberry flavored milk, I decided to make my milk tie dye and turn it into what I call Unicorn Milk! No I did not milk a Unicorn to get it! LOL. Who says you can’t turn your milk rainbow colors?!!
To make this super simple drink you’ll need:
- 3 Cups of a2 MilkĀ®
- All natural powder food coloring in pink, purple, and yellow
- All Natural Strawberry Flavoring
- Ice
- Sprinkles
- Dairy Free Chocolate or Icing
- Measuring Cup
- Spoon or Blender
First, you add your 1 cup of a2 MilkĀ® to your measuring cup.
You then add some blue food coloring to the milk. You can either mix it by hand or put it in a blender to mix.
You can repeat the steps for the pink and yellow colors as well. Separate the colors into three different ice filled cups. Add 3 drops of natural strawberry flavor to each cup.
Melt your chocolate or spread some icing on the edge of your glasses. Dip into your sprinkles for some cute garnish. Pour in the blue milk first.
Then with your cup on an angle, pour in the pink colored milk, turning your cup as you pour. You repeat this step for the yellow milk as well.
As you can see if creates a tie dye effect with the milk and makes it different colors.
The pink and the blue does make a purple at the bottom, but there are colors swirling through out.
You put in a colorful straw and serve. It’s an easy and fun magical looking drink to stay cool with. I’m sure that any Lisa Frank or Unicorn lover will have a blast cooling down with it.
You can add some adorable Unicorn poop sprinkles to munch on as you sip as well. My friend at Tiny Kitchen Treats made these for me out of icing.
