Hey All!

In exactly one month from Monday I’ll be making my annual geek journey down to San Diego for Comic Con 2015! It’s coming up so fast and I can’t wait for the crazy event that it is. It seems to get crazier and crazier each year we go and sometimes we go as a family and sometimes me and the husband just go. Honestly I think it’s kind of like our vacation away from everything when we go alone and we prefer to go just the two of us. You have to move fast and it’s always harder when there are more of us. This year since so many incredible movies are coming out this year and in 2016 we decided we’re going alone. It’s kind of like our belated honeymoon so to speak.

We get dressed in our nerdy best (YES I’m dress head to toe in R2-D2 gear) and have a blast. We always joke and say one does not just go to Comic Con. Getting tickets alone is like winning a lottery in itself. Getting a hotel and then just getting there and around is also crazy. We ask ourselves why we do it each year if it’s so crazy? I can’t explain why we continue to go since it’s so stressful, but I guess the only answer is we love it and we’re crazy ourselves. We always leave their full of incredible stories and memories. Let’s not forget all the amazing entertainment we get to see rare clips and spoilers of for films and shows that the general public probably won’t get to see for like 2 years!

I mean where else would you get to see a full on Darth Vader Car…

Or have an amazing breakfast with Hasbro and Transformers!

Playing with cars that are more than meets the eye while munching on some pancakes is exactly how I’d like to spend my days every day if I could. It’s a nerd-girls paradise!

Sure we wait on lines for days for panels and for exclusives, but it’s worth it to me because where else am I going to score these limited edition exclusive toys for me and my family. Who are we kidding they are just for me!

One booth I’m always looking forward to is the Hasbro Booth! They haven’t announced all their exclusives for Comic Con 2015 yet, but I seriously can not wait to see what they unveil for Star Wars. I know it’s going to be something awesome and maybe even for the Force Awakens! I get a Star Wars toy from them every year! I’m like bouncing with excitement to see what is in store this year! It’s the year of a New Star Wars movie so it’s going to be epic I’m sure and you all know what kind of insane nerd I am for Star Wars. Beep boop beep boop!

Here is a look at just some of the Exclusive Hasbro Toys that have been announced and will be available at Comic Con 2015 that we know about thus far.

The official Transformers Facebook page shared this San Diego Comic-Con exclusive called the Devastator. This figure can break down into the six Constructicons. Hello! You won’t find this kind of awesome at Toys R Us folks.

IGN shared this exclusive that will also be at Comic Con called the The Combiner Hunters collection, which includes three Deluxe Scale Figures (Windblade, Arcee and Chromia). The set, which is based on the Combiner Hunters comic book storyline, features three female Transformers as they team up to take down the original Combiner, Devastator.

And the last but not least shared by USA Today, Hasbro has teamed with Marvel for an amazing Comic-Con Exclusive to create a set of Doctor Strange Marvel Legends figures. This awesome collectors edition includes 6-inch figures of Strange in his blue astral form, his ally Brother Voodoo, mutant sorceress Magik, the Asgardian goddess of death Hela, and Strange’s arch nemesis, Dormammu.

That’s all we know thus far for Hasbro. I’m keeping my eyes peeled and stalking my emails like a hawk to see when anything else gets announce. I’m sure you will be too if you’re a geek like me.

I have to also mention that each year I always get a set of Itty Bitty’s and Star Wars Keepsake Exclusive Ornament from the Hallmark Booth at Comic Con and this year I’m pretty stoked about what they have.

This years ornament is the U-3PO and R5-D4 – This Keepsake Ornament two-pack created especially for event sales features droids that first appeared in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The humanoid protocol droid U-3PO served aboard Princess Leia’s consular ship while the astromech droid R5-D4 was offered for sale by Jawa traders to moisture farmer Owen Lars on Tatooine.

And the Itty Bitty is Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite! I’m going to seriously run like Flash and maybe push over some old ladies to get this gosh darn Itty Bitty. I’m not even joking. It’s a crazy free for all battle dome in the exhibit hall when you’re trying to get exclusives. This exclusive two-pack of the armored bounty hunter and his prisoner as seen in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

I’m counting down the days until we get our fabulous car thanks to the folks at Kia and trek our way to San Diego Comic Con 2015! It makes me want to say YAY!
