D23 – Disney Geek Returns! #Disney #d23 #disneygeek

Hey All!

So You all know I love D23 and I’m a loving member, but one thing I’ve always loved was the feature Youtube show that they have called Disney geek that starred the amazing Jeffrey as the Disney Geek. When I first met Jeffrey I will admit I geeked out since I was a big fan, lol. And I loved that he loved my site since I am a huge Disney Geek!

But Sadly I don’t think he’s going to be the Disney Geek any more and I’m very torn up about this! I want my DISNEY GEEK BACK! Don’t get me wrong, the new show is nice, but Jeffrey is the Disney Geek and it’s almost like taking away Jay Leno from the Tonight show in my eyes. Disney Geek with out Jeffrey is just not the same. The Disney Geek is Jeffrey and I can’t see it with out him. I even have a freaken Disney Geek shirt! That’s just my two scents.

But the new D23 Presents Disney Geek does have a sleek new set and new team of hosts. Disney Geek reports the latest Disney news from around The Walt Disney Company, including theme parks, animation, movies, television, music, home entertainment, special events and more. The show is a production of the new D23 Studios, a division of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club.

Today’s episode, with hosts Carmen Capone (editor in chief of D23’s quarterly publication Disney twenty-three) and Billy Stanek (D23’s Web content editor), includes stories on the 20th anniversary celebration of Disneyland Paris; celebrity announcements for Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World Resort; a special D23 Member discount to Disney’s newest Broadway show, Peter and the Starcatcher; details on the sequel to Marvel’s Captain America and the new film Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie; and much more.

A second segment of D23 Presents Disney Geek will air Friday, April 13, with highlights from the premiere of Marvel’s The Avengers and a special tour of the Disney Fantasy cruise ship. D23 Presents Disney Geek will air bi-weekly, Wednesdays and Fridays.  In alternating weeks, D23 Studios will present Armchair Archivist, which takes Disney fans inside the Walt Disney Archives and beyond for an in-depth look at Disney’s amazing history and heritage.

D23 Presents Disney Geek can be viewed on the fan club’s official website, www.D23.com or www.Disney.com/D23.  Fans can also watch on www.YouTube.com/user/DisneyD23 and may subscribe on iTunes by clicking here.

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club celebrates the remarkable past, present and future of Disney, taking its name from 1923, the year Walt Disney founded his world-famous company. D23 brings its members a host of exclusive benefits, including a weekly email newsletter; an array of discounts and special offers; free gifts throughout the year; as well as exclusive events created especially for its members.

Disney fans can join the world’s only Official Disney Fan Club by visiting www.D23.com or www.Disney.com/D23, or by visiting the Disneyland Resort, the Walt Disney World Resort or www.DisneyStore.com/D23. To keep up with all the latest D23 news and events, follow “DisneyD23” on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.

Again I think the new show is going to be great and I still love Disney Geek, but I Jeffrey is still the one an only Disney Geek!
