With summer in full swing, I’m sure you’re planning lots of back year Hawaiian luau or beach themed parties. It is the season of all things beachy. Don’t waste a ton of money on expensive party favors. Think outside the box and give new life to your Post Cocoa Pebbles Cereal by transforming it into a fun party favor everyone can enjoy. I’m showing you one example example today with these super fun DIY Cocoa Pebbles Palm Tree Party Favors! They are super easy to make and they incorporate one of the most awesome tasty cereals around! I literally made 6 in less than 15 minutes. I’ve been eating Cocoa Pebbles cereal since I was a kid and I love using products that I love in my DIYs. Enjoying a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles energizes you and unleashes your inner kid, opening up a world of creative possibilities. That’s exactly how I came up with these delightful party favors! Using a product in your party favors that you’ve loved for years makes it all the more personal and creative.

Cocoa Pebbles is the perfect chocolatey treat that looks like it was made to be turned into a palm tree. If that picture below doesn’t scream palm tree, I don’t know what does.

Here is how to make these fun party favors.

First you pour some Post Cocoa Pebbles Cereal into your round favor tubes. You can make as many as you need for your party.

You then cut out little lemon drop shapes from your green craft foam sheet. I say lemon or lime drop as it’s almost the shape of when you slice a piece of lime. It’s kind of like a half moon shape. You can see the shape below! These will be the palm tree leaves. You need to cut out 5 leaves per palm tree. Each tree should have 5 leaves.

You then cut out 2 or 3 little triangles from palm tree leaves. You can alternate between each of the 5 leaves which gets 2 or 3.

You then glue all the leaves together with your glue gun in the fan shape of a palm tree. You will overlap the leaves as you glue them to get this effect.

You then glue the leaves to your tubes filled with Post Cocoa Pebbles Cereal. Make sure you don’t glue on the tubes cap! You’ll want your guests to be able to open their tubes, so they can eat their cereal.

That’s it! You’re done! You have yourself some super cute palm tree party favors. You can put them in treat bags or on a table setting. You can also use them as a cake topper as well.

I made a little island beach set up as I couldn’t resist how cute it would look with these cute little palm trees. You could easily do this set up on the top of your cake and make it a little island, palm springs, or beach themed cake. That sand is actually sugar that looks like sand. It’s completely edible.

The little umbrella is a drink umbrella and the chair, sun glasses, and flip flops are cupcake toppers and toys.

These flamingos are actually birthday cake candles!
