Are you looking for the simplest and cutest last minute Easter Eggs to make for the holiday? Well look no further than our DIY Patchgame Easter Surprise Eggs! They are adorable plastic Easter eggs covered in vinyl stickers that look like patches. These fun patches were designed in collaboration with my amazing designer Jade Boylan. They were obviously inspired by all my favorite patch makers like Wildflower + Co, Winks For Days, Coucou Suzette, These Are Things, Little Arrow Shop, Big Bud Press, Lucky Horse Press and more. You can see some my favorite places to shop for patches HERE.
To make these fun and simple candy filled treats you’ll need:
- Printable Vinyl.
- Various Easter Themed Candy.
- Plastic Easter Eggs That You Can Fill.
- Scissors or a Cricut Explore Craft Cutting Machine.
- Our Free Printable Patches, Which You Can Download Below.
First you need to download and print your mini patches on to the printable vinyl to decorate the Easter eggs with. You can download GROUP A OF THE PATCH DESIGNS HERE and GROUP B HERE. You can also click on each image below to download each page of patch designs.

After you’ve downloaded and printed your patches, you can then either cut them out with scissors or use a Cricut Explore Craft Cutting Machine and upload the designs to the Cricut Design Space to print and cut. I used my Cricut so that it could be faster. But you can do it any way you’d like.
How cute are these little patch stickers folks? Too cute!
Once you have all your patches cut out, you fill your eggs with what ever Easter themed candy you love.
After your eggs are filled, you simply begin to stick on your patches.
You can make as many patch covered Easter surprise eggs as you’d like.
About 5-6 patch stickers fit on one egg.
Once you’re done covering all your plastic Easter eggs with patches, you can hide them around the house or give them out to friends.
Anyone who loves collecting patches will love these adorable and fun Easter eggs. They’ll also just love them for all the fun candy inside.
