Hey All!

If you have allergies like I do, then you know you can get a puffy face, red nose, and watery red eyes from all the sneezing and blowing. This what I like to refer to as allergy face.

Luckily, the makers of the allergy medicine I use ZYRTEC® have teamed up with Beauty and Fashion Expert Carmen Ordoñez (@VivaFashion) to share some simple tricks to help you embrace your natural belleza Latina, even when dealing with allergy face beauty challenges like watery eyes, a red nose, and a puffy face. This is extremely helpful during Allergy season. I know I like to stay looking fabulous all year round and allergy season is no exception.

She showcases these tips and tricks through a fun #ALLERGYFACE Spring Beauty Tips YouTube video series. It’s a three-part bilingual video series, in which Carmen shares and shows you her simple do-it-yourself beauty solutions to help women tackle allergy-related beauty challenges during the warm summer months. What’s great about these videos is that they showcase easy to do tips and tricks. They really show that it is not difficult to combat allergy face.

Check out one of the videos below:

In this video entitled “Embracing Your Natural Belleza Latina,” Carmen shares simple beauty tips to help women look naturally bella when tackling ALLERGY FACETM, including:

  • How to Combat a Puffy Face: Drink plenty of water each day to help keep your skin hydrated.
  • How to Combat a Puffy Face: Also, to reduce the appearance of a puffy face, rub an ice cube over your face before applying your makeup.
  • How to Reduce the Appearance of Watery Eyes: Apply navy blue or cobalt mascara to help the whites of your eyes appear brighter.
Less is more! Don’t overdo it with too much makeup.

Some other useful tips from Carmen include:

  • For your eyes: Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara to help “wake up” your ALLERGY FACETM. Using a curler will make your eyes look wide open, so you look fresh and awake.
  • For Your Nose: If your nose is irritated and dry, avoid putting on foundation, which can look caked on. Instead apply a rich moisturizer and let it dry.
  • For Your Face: To help reduce the appearance of ALLERGY FACETM, place a cold, damp cloth on your face for 10 minutes.

Super simple tips right? I use the For Your Nose tip every week as that is my most problem area. If you’d like to see more of these tips Visit YouTube.com/Zyrtec to view the entire three-part ALLERY FACETM video series.
