This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey All!

As back to school has arrived I decided to make a fun craft that my kids coud use for Back to School. I was struggling to figure out what they could use based on their classes and that's when I came up with the idea to make them rulers with post it notes inside. I saw this for sale at a store when we were back to school shopping and I thought I could make this myself.

I immediately went to Walmart to get supplies. I knew I wanted to make it out of Duck Tape® and Walmart has a full assortment of Duck Tape® for back to school in the Paint Department and the Craft Department.

Duck Tape® has become a back to school must have as my teen loves to decorate his notebooks, binders, and what ever else he can with Duct Tape. My niece also loves to use it as well. Just in case you didn’t know all the amazing things you can do with Duck Tape®, listen up! You can use Duck Tape® to create, embellish and decorate! You can make things for teachers as welcome gifts! You can make a custom name plate for your children’s desk or classroom cubby. Older students can cover their books in paper bags and embellish/decorate/customize with Duck Tape®! Or maybe a customized Duck Tape® mirror for the middle schoolers locker?

If you are a homeschool parent or parent of a not-quite school age yet children, you can get your school supplies at Walmart and create lots of learning opportunities using Duck Tape®. You can cut Duck Tape® into shapes and have your children learn shapes or use Duck Tape® to create a colorful learning wall

Duck Tape® is a creative and inexpensive tool for both teachers, students, and they are only limited to their imagination!

There is so much you can do with Duck Tape® I know! Once I had my supplies I quickly heading home to get crafting.

To Make This Duck Tape® Craft You Need:

1 Roll of Duck Tape® in what ever color you like.

1 sheet of poster board

1 scissors

1 Peel and stick velcro

2 post it notes pads

1 Sharpie

1 Ruler

First you cut out the length and width of the post it notes and ruler from the poster board. Then you proceed to cut strips of Duck Tape® and place them aligned on the post it board. You want to make sure the pattern lines up.

Once both sides of the poster board is covered in Duck Tape®, you then take a sharpie and draw on the numbers for the ruler. You then peel off the back of the post it notes and stick them inside. Lastly you cut two pieces of velcro and stick them inside so that the two sides can fasten together.

That's it you're done! You can put pens inside and the velcro will keep it tight inside. So it's almost like a pencil case as well!

I love how easy it is to use Duck Tape® and I love the patterns that it comes in. It's durable and it can make some amazingly sturdy crafts. You can buy Duck Tape at Walmart as they will probably have the best assortment of designs to choose from.
