Epic Mickey 2 & My Epic Time At Disneyland! #EpicMickeyDLR #PowerOfTwo #Disney

Hey All!

Recently I had a dream come true experience as I was invited to check out the amazing sequel to one of our favorite games Epic Mickey! We got to check out what Mickey Mouse and Oswald are up to in the new Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two video game. They also had a once in a lifetime entire day experience at Disneyland planned out for the day for us.

We met at Disneyland inside the conference center of The Grand Californian Hotel to have lunch and these amazing and magical deserts.

Yes one is shining since it had edible glitter on it! It was almost too cute to eat! They were beautiful to say the least!

We got to not only learn about how amazing the new game is going to be, but we got to play the game on Wii, 3DS, And Wii U!Ā  Yes only Disney could get a Wii U a month before it’s released!

In ā€œDisney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two,ā€ gamers will play as Mickey Mouse and for the first time ever, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disneyā€™s first cartoon star, in an all-new adventure of creativity and discovery. It was created by industry luminary Warren Spector and Disney Interactiveā€™s Junction Point game development studio, ā€œDisney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Twoā€ returns the franchise to the Wiiā„¢ system from Nintendo, as well as expanding it to new HD consoles including the Xbox 360Ā® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PLAYSTATIONĀ®3 computer entertainment system andĀ  the Wii Uā„¢ system.

I love that it’s now available for multiple game platforms as we have an Xbox 360Ā®, 3DS, and Wiiā„¢ system in our house for the kids! I personally love the Wiiā„¢ version and I’m hoping Santa can some how get us a Wii Uā„¢ system!

We learned from Warren Spector that the voice Narrating Epic Mickey 2 will be Cary Elwes my favorite actor from movies such as Robin Hood Men in Tights and my all time favorite The Princess Bride! The game now also has multi-angle cameras as you play and more! I can’t give away too much of the game.

We also learned about the new worlds of different versions of the new game! I was super excited to learn about the lands in the 3DS version that has The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, and Aladdin themes! I got to play these levels on the 3DS they had available and I have to say I think I want to play it more than the kids do when I told them about it!!!

There are lots of references to Disney and tributes to Walt inside the game that you definitely want to keep your eyes out for when you play this game!

We also got to do round table interviews with Warren Spector and Paul Weaver of Junction Point, Peter Ong of DreamRift and Disney Interactive’s VP of Product Development, Bill Roper! They were so inspiring as they spoke about the amazing amount of time and effort they put into researching this game.

I played Epic Mickey 2 some more on the 3DS since I was in love with the Peter Pan level and this amazing paint brush stylus that you use as you play the game! It’s adorable!

After all that we were told we were going to go into Disneyland to have a once in a lifetime opportunity to take a “Walk in Walt’s Footsteps” tour with Warren Spector and Paul Weaver, Visit Walt’s Personal apartment in the Disneyland park, and eat dinner at the exclusive invite only Club 33 in Disneyland!! I nearly cried as this has always been a dream of mine to do. It seriously was on my bucket list to one day visit all these places in the park and I finally got the opportunity to do it. It was truly a dream come true. We were not allowed to take our cameras with us, but we could take our phones. The rest of my pics are from my instagram pictures.

Our tour guide and tour was amazing as we had Warren Spector in our group and he pointed out various historical landmarks in the park that were used as inspiration when creating Wasteland. He also acted like our own personal historian as we took the tour. I was so lucky to be in the group with him as we were all broken up into groups and not everyone got the opportunity to take the tour with this gaming legend!

We saw Walt Disney’s private apartment, where I sobbed like a baby when the tour guide told us the meaning of the lamp that they keep on 24-7 in memory of Walt Disney and how it reminds us to keep our passions alive as Walt did. We were given our own Lamp pin and a pin after the tour was over to always remember to keep our passions alive and to remember that we took this once in a lifetime “Walk in Walt’s Footsteps” tour. You can only get these pins if you visit the apartment and take this tour! These are now my new prized possessions to say the least!

We then headed off to dinner at my other dream come true Club 33!

I was the first person to enter the restaurant and I can’t tell you how excited I was. I took pictures of everything! I mean everything! This was a dream come true and once in a lifetime opportunity for me, and who knows if I’ll ever see it again!

It was like stepping back in time into the time Walt walked these halls. The menu and food was amazing! Everything said 33 on it!

They have an amazing drink called Club 33 punch that tastes and looks amazing as you can see below!

I even took a picture of the bathroom and toilet! Yes the toilet was even amazing!

What’s even more amazing is the fabulous folks of Epic Mickey and The Disneyland Resort were kind enough to give us video of our entire walking tour to remember this magical day and to share with you all. When you watch the video, you will notice me on the phone tweeting ALOT and instagraming as I’m walking along the tour in my striped shirt and you get the once in a lifetime opportunity to see inside Walt’s apartment! I was the first one to enter and you will hear me ring the door bell before I enter. It was like I was letting Walt know I’m finally here! You will also get to see the inside of the dining room of Club 33! So you really want to watch this entire video! It’s a little over 20 minutes long!

It was truly a magical day for me and it only made me even more excited about Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two! The amount of passion, inspiration, and dedication that went into making this game in order to capture the spirit of Walt Disney makes this game unlike any other Disney game on the market. It truly makes it a magical game for the whole family! And if you’re ever in Disneyland you should definitely take one of the DisneylandĀ tours with your own family as you will be truly inspired!

I can’t that the amazing PR team at Disney Interactive enough for such an amazing day! It was again a day I will remember for the rest of my life. As a die hard Disney fanatic it truly was a dream come true day!

Stayed tuned for my Holiday Gift Guide which will have my full review of this game and for your chance to win this amazing game for you or your family this Holiday Season. It truly will be the perfect gift for any Disney Fan this Holiday season!
