Hey All!
I’m sad summer is officially over, but ice cream is all year long in my book. These are some ice cream pumpkins I made last year for Halloween. But I’m so glad this week is over. It was a hellish week! I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was. At one point, I literally only slept 4 hours for two days total. I was delirious and still working. I was trying to get everything done for brands and for Halloween all while dealing with the disaster and aftermath of a network named Mode Media, which was my ad network. My life this week has essentially been like a scene from the movie “Fun with Dick and Jane” if you know what I mean. That’s essentially what this company did to all who worked for it and who were a part of their network. It’s been horrific, since I work hard in everything I do and now I’m out a substantial amount of money. It’s a very tough lesson to learn about setting your own terms and valuing yourself and your work as a blogger. After almost 7 years of blogging, you would think it would have learned this by now and seen it all, but there is always something new to learn. This was a very rough and expensive lesson to learn. But enough about that! I super excited that I kicked off our Halloween content this week and I hope you are enjoying it all! We have a lot more fun stuff coming up for Halloween, so stay tuned.
