Hey All!
The holidays shouldn’t be all about receiving gifts and how much you’ll be getting under the tree. They should be about giving to others in need and doing things for others who may be less fortunate or going through a hard time during the holidays. This time of year can be really rough on some people and animals too. I always make my friends and family practice the art of giving during the holidays.
A little can truly go a long way. Whether it’s donating to our local animal shelter or donating to an organization that will provide gifts or toys to kids and adults in need, we do it every year. It’s a holiday tradition as I only wish that everyone have at least one gift or act of kindness that will make them happy this holiday season.
My family and I honestly wish everyone can simply have a peaceful and loving holiday season.
Check out my video below where I convey this wish on Instagram:
Through a campaign called “#WishForOthers,” Capital One is also hoping to help make the holidays a little brighter this year by helping to share and grant people’s wish for others. During the holidays, we’re often asked what we wish for ourselves. This holiday season, Capital One is instead asking people to share their wish for others.
Share your wish for someone else! It could be a wish for a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a community with hashtag #WishForOthers on Twitter, Instagram, or on the Capital One Facebook page from Nov. 24 through Dec. 23 for a chance to make it come true.

My wish for others is that every child has a present to open this year. Happy Thanksgiving!
I wish that no child ever went hungry and always had a warm, safe place to sleep every night.
I wish that those that serve in our military and are in dangerous places would be able to finish out their deployments without harm and return to their families safely.
We’ve already signed up to donate over $100 in gifts for our school’s angel tree.
I wish for every child to have a happy and carefree life and for those down on their luck to receive a little help.
My wish for others is that everyone would have their basic needs (food, clean water, and shelter) met.
