As you all know, my hubby and I are still trying to have a new baby. Since we started trying, we’ve realized this is going to be a big change for us and we’re going to have to make some upgrades to our current car situation. We’ve been OK with our current cars, which fit us perfectly as a family of three. If we’re going to be a family of four, we’re going to have to upgrade and get a new car. I’m not ashamed to admit that I still drive the first car I ever bought. She still works perfectly and doesn’t have much mileage on her for a car that’s about 12 years old! I call her old Betsy. She’s a little dented up and yes she had a grumpy cat on the window, but I essentially learned to drive in this car and moved to LA in this car. It’s my home away from home when I’m on the road. I was a late bloomer when it comes to driving. I’m a born and raised New Yorker and we don’t really need to drive in NYC. It wasn’t until I decided we were moving to California that I decided to get my license and a car to start driving.
My hubby also still drives the same car that he’s had since he’s got out of the military. He’s is about 15 years old! We’ve have some amazing memories from our cars and it’s going to be very hard to part with at least one of them. We’re going to have to trade in at least one of the cars in order to get a new car.
