With Saint Patty’s Day around the corner I wanted to share a fun little idea to do with your kids that not only makes the day seem magical, but also makes your kids think a pesky Leprechaun tried to steal their tasty pot of yummines. I call it DIY Leprechaun Munchies AKA Saint Patty’s Day Popcorn! It’s super easy to make and is perfectly festive for the holiday.
All You Need To Make This Fun Leprechaun Tasty Treat Is:
- 1-2 Bags of Microwavable Popcorn. (Depending on how much you want to make)
- Gold covered chocolates. (I got mine at Sugarfina!)
- Gold Sugar Sprinkles.
- 1 Cup of Lucky Charms Marshmallows.
- 1 Bag of Green Wilton Chocolate Melts.
- 1 Cauldron. (I used an old Witches Cauldron I had from Halloween)
1st you melt your Green Chocolate Candy Melts in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Stirring it in between as it melts.
I like to get all my ingredients in order so I can move like an assembly line once my chocolate is melted.
Yes I did spend like 15 minutes separating marshmallows from my Lucky Charms cereal!
Once my popcorn is done I put it into big bowl. (A Pink Bowl of Course)
Then I mixed in the melted Green Chocolate and added my gold sugar sprinkles.
I think added my round chocolate crunchies candy…
Followed by my big gold chocolate candies from Sugarfina.
Lastly I sprinkled in the Lucky Charms marshmallows!
Pour it all int the cauldron and BOOM you got a tasty treat you and the kids can munch on for Saint Patties Day. That is if those pesky Leprechauns don’t steal the pot of yumminess before you get to eat it.
I hope you enjoy this tasty treat just as much as me and my family do!
I hope you and your family enjoy these as much as my family and I do!
