Hey All!

I recently had the great opportunity to test drive the fabulous 2013 Kia Rio SX Sedan on a road trip with a girlfriend of mine up to San Diego! It was bloggers on a road trip! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed driving this car. Well maybe this picture below of me behind the wheel speaks for itself.

The Kia Rio SX was the perfect car to take this road trip. It had everything we needed and fit us with our luggage perfectly. The car has a great amount of trunk space, so it not only could fit all our luggage perfectly, but if we used it with our family on a road trip, it would fit our families perfectly too!

It was truly the perfect sized car for me as you can see me with it happier than ever in San Diego below.

The car has some amazing features like Power-folding outside mirrors with turn signal indicators. This is very handy when you live in the city as people drive crazy and you never know if they come to close and take your mirror off. It’s great that can fold in and the light signals on them also let drivers who can’t see your rear lights know which direction you want to go in. It’s all about the safety for me.

The sunroof and rear backup camera display were very handy! The sunroof allowed us to take in some sunshine as we drove and the rear camera was essential when parking and reversing the car. You can see it hidden underneath the little Kia sign on the back of the car. I also love the push button car opening system on the door handle. It allows you to just push that black button when you have the keys near the car and it opens the door to the car.

The car was also like a little command center. The Push-button Start with Smart Key made it very easy to start the car and it also made you feel like this car was very sophisticated. The Bluetooth Wireless Technology in the car was a life saver! It allowed me to sync my iPhone to the car so I can answer and make calls by just simply clicking one button on my steering wheel. It also had voice recognition in which I could tell it to change my radio stations or to call someone. It’s a great safety feature that allows you to use your phone safely while on the road. It also allows you to stream your music through the car when you sync your phone.

We were enjoying my tunes on my phone and through the awesome Sirius Satellite Radio! This is all found in the dash board along with On-board Navigation. We probably wouldn’t have made it to San Diego if it wasn’t for the navigation. You simply put in the location you need to go to and it gets you there! A must have for any road trip!

The air conditioning also kept us cooler than ever as this is the Summer and the heat is on!

The Kia’s also very fuel efficient. It gets about 28 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. But I swear we got even more out of it on our trip since it comes with a feature called Eco-Boost!

You simply push the Eco button located near the steering wheel which enables the car to be more fuel efficient. It essentially allows you to use less fuel as you drive!

All in all this car had everything we were looking for on our road trip. It had lots of room, it was fuel efficient, and it was great to drive! It made us very comfortable and kept us connected and on track as we took in views like these!

If you’re in the market for a new  family car or if you take a lot of road trips the Kia Rio SX is the car for you!

Starting at just $13,600 for a base model. The model I had with all these features costs a little over $24,000.
