Are you always looking for a family friendly kid friendly activity to keep the kids entertained while you’re cleaning or when it’s raining outside or if you’re like me you need the kids entertained while you blog? I’m kidding about that last one. Well if you use your ipad or your computer to entertain your kids like I do then I have just the thing you’re looking for! Little Space Heroes is an adorable and super fun (yes I said super fun because it is) interactive game for kids ages 5-12! Those tweens will even love it. If you have little girls and boys in your house that love super heroes like I do in your home, they will love this game!

It’s fun, easy to use, and the kids get to create their own Space Hero and essentially become their own little super hero online! What’s amazing about it is you can either get a paid membership or you can play for FREE! YES FREE!

Your child can explore a galaxy filled with fun and adventure while you get to do things around the house. It’s a win win if you ask me!

When you log on for the first time you have to create your accounts and create a new hero for your child. I made one for myself just so you can see how simple it is to use and because I wanted to test the site before I raved about it to you all!

While you’re creating your Hero you can change the hair color and color of the Super Hero Outfit so your kids will feel their Super Hero looks like them. Of course I chose a pink outfit and light hair and named her Queenofswag! Now I’m super Queenofswag online! Once you’re done customizing your Super Hero you will get an email to confirm your account. And that’s it your done and ready to play. Here is a video of how to get started just so you can see visually for yourself how easy it is to start playing this online game with your kids.

Once you’re inside there are entire planets to explore, each with different quests and adventures! There is also missions you can do or your kids can team up with their friends for group-based play.

Here is the premise of the game:

The dastardly Lord Shadowbot has stolen the Glows! This not-so-evil villain’s bizarre fear of the dark led him to our heroes galaxy where he discovered the Glows, a curious light emitting creature with amazing powers. Wanting the Glows all for himself, Shadowbot and his minions landed on the Glow’s Crystal planet home world and began to Glow-nap them! Stealing away our little friends to light his way through the Galaxy and power his minion ships … the Nauts.

Exploring deep space, Ace and his pals Kira, Sparky, Krill and Zed made haste back to the galaxy, and using Professor Q’s Bubble Chi powers, the heroes succeeded in banishing Shadowbot from their home – but not before he had damaged the Crystal Palace and stolen away most of the Glows.

In the months that followed, no matter how hard they tried, no trace of Shadowbot or the Glows could be found. To find the space robot, Ace and pals invite new cadets to join the Space Heroes Academy to learn the ropes, team up with friends, and master your Bubble Blaster, Jetpack and Starjet. The galaxy is a very big place and with plenty of distant planets to explore we need new and old Heroes alike to work together to unravel secrets of Shadowbot and the missing Glows. Along the way you’ll make new friends, earn badges, play fun games, take part in special events and craft your own amazing hero adventures!

After I tested it out, I let me niece and nephew run free on it and my teen Mike even got in on the action and he’s in HIGH SCHOOL. The kids all seemed to love it! Since everyone is on Spring break at the moment the kids are running a muck at home so this kept them entertained for a good while. They loved how colorful it was and I particularly loved the level that reminds me of an old arcade game! I know some parents are hesitant to put their kids online to play games, but Little Space Heroes is incredibly safe and the team behind it has gone to great lengths to secure independent recognition of their safety features which include advanced chat filtering and live in-game moderators. Little Space Heroes is kidSAFE certified and has the Parents’ Choice Award Seal as well as the Family Friendly Video Games Seal of Approval. The game is rated E for Everyone meaning it’s suitable for the whole family.
