I don’t know if you’re in the Southern California area, but if you are… Albertsons stores just launched their new just for U savings tool on their app! It’s an easy to use mobile savings tool that you use when you shop! You can download their app HERE to get it, if you’re on anĀ iOS iPhone. If you’re on an android, you can download the app HERE! Shoppers can find over $300 in weekly savings on groceries through digital coupons and personalized offers ā on top of great in-store prices and deals. The just for you tool provides customized deals on groceries and more! The offers in just for U are based on your purchase history, so you can save more on what you actually buy and use.
Any app that helps me save while I am shopping, I am all for it!
I immediately downloaded it and it downloaded in a flash. Be sure to be on wifi when you’re downloading apps, as it will go faster. You also won’t use your data up if you only download apps while on wifi.
Once it was downloaded, it opens with info on just for U and the gas rewards you can get by using the app when you shop.
When you download the app, you can set up an account (if you don’t have one already). Once your account is set up, you can start adding savings from just for U, by clicking the blue “add” button. Offers available through the app include manufacturer coupons and our store coupons, as well as offers that are just for you! Offers might be a lower price, cents off, or a discount if you hit a certain threshold (for example: spend $50 and save $5).
The app allows you to make your text on the app larger and you can also filter out what your looking for. I love that it’s customizable, especially for those of us who have trouble reading small fonts. You’ll know you’re on the just for U tool in the app, because it will selected and look like how you see above in yellow.
When you add savings from the just for U, it will appear under “my list”. You just select “my list” in the center and it will show you your savings and list of items you need to shop for. You can also type in your own items onto your list as well. I love that you can make your grocery list directly on the app! It’s so handy and it helps cut back on paper. Save the trees folks!
I love that items popped up with savings that reflected the last time I went shopping. I could add savings on everything from milk to sweet red cherries!
When the items you’d like to save on are added from the just for U, it will say added and be muted out. This lets you know your savings have been added for your next shopping trip. I saved so much when I went shopping at Albertsons this past weekend. We had to go shopping, since we have been gone for almost the entire month of July. We had a lot of restocking to do and food to buy. It was so handy to have our savings and grocery list all in one app as we shopped. There was no looking for coupons and no trying to find the grocery list in the abyss that is my purse.
It was convenient and easy to use. I can’t see myself shopping with out it now! If you use just for U before every shopping trip, you’ll get new savings each week. Also, when you use the app for a while, you can also get free offers for the next time you shop. Who doesn’t love free stuff? I know I do!
