Hey All!

If you’re looking for some amazing tech products and something fun to do with your kids this holiday season, you’ll definitely want to check out the Microsoft YouthSpark Fall and Winter Camps at your local Microsoft store. YouthSpark Fall and Winter Camps is where kids and parents get tech-savvy together. The store is not only a fabulous place to shop for all your amazing tech needs, it’s an amazing place for you and your kids to learn. You should definitely consider shopping at the Microsoft store over the holidays! I’m happy to be partnering with Microsoft to give you some great holiday info!

Not only will you leave a Microsoft store with the perfect holiday gifts, your kids will leave with some great knowledge and tech skills they learned as part of the YouthSpark Fall and Winter Camps. Find your store and browse upcoming events. What’s great about this program is it’s free for kids ages 8-13 and it gives them the chance to be creative with the latest technologies. Topics include how to code and design a video game and build an app on Microsoft technology such as TouchDevelop, Windows App Studio, Kodu and Project Spark. Microsoft’s YouthSpark Field Trips are another great learning opportunity!

These hands-on workshops give students an inside look at the latest technologies and digital skills that can help them organize and communicate effectively. They also actually get to connect with Microsoft employees and participate in innovative learning activities such as a digital scavenger hunt and storytelling through gaming. Participating in programs like this will also build critical problem-solving and digital literacy skills. This is amazing future job training that the Microsoft store is providing!

It’s great to have a store that you can pick up amazing technology gifts like the Surface Pro 3 or the HP Stream 13 Signature Edition Laptop for the holidays and pick up some knowledge as well. The ability to learn something new is a huge value in my book.

Free YouthSpark Fall and Winter Camps are going on now! If your child is dreaming of making video games when he or she grows up (like mine is), explore their game and app technology at YouthSpark Fall and Winter Camps. Get your child in on the learning & enroll them in the classes that let them achieve their full potential. Ignite your child’s imagination and creativity while getting your kids ready for the future!

Also from December 8th-14th they will be hosting an Hour of Code. Hour of Code is where kids learn to code, create a game, and achieve more. Kids can have just as much fun making games as they do playing them. While kids are at camp, parents are invited to take short courses on topics such as online security, smart computing and building a game with their child to help better equip them in today’s tech-driven world.

Find a free workshop at your local store: retail.ms/storeloc.

Your child’s future is built today. Add a block to their foundation and enroll your kids in Microsoft store’s YouthSpark Fall and Winter Camps, where they’ll get creative with tech! Your child will have a positive and fun experience with hands-on learning and access to the latest in technology!
