Mirror Mirror! Great Fun Movie for All! #Movie #Review

Hey All!

A few weeks ago I got to see the amazing chance to see the film Mirror Mirror and I have to say I was extremely impressed as to how well this movie was executed. I had not expected it to be what it turned out to be when I first heard about the film. I knew I want to see this film when I saw it had Armie Hammer the hottie from Social Network playing the Prince, but I will admit I wasn’t too happy with Lily Collins being chosen to play Snow White. But I have to say after seeing the film, Lily and everyone in the cast and the clever story won me over! I LOVED THIS MOVIE! I laughed out loud in parts and let me not forget to mention just how beautiful this movie was filmed. The vivid colors and costume design remind you of a bright vivid almost animated film. If Aladdin came to life it would have been this film.

Here is a little on the story!

“One of the most beloved stories of all time is coming to life in the motion picture Snow White legend,Ā Mirror Mirror. A fresh and funny retelling of the Snow White legend, Mirror Mirror features breakout star Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as Snow White, a princess in exile, and OscarĀ®-winner Julia Roberts as the evil Queen who ruthlessly rules her captured kingdom. Seven courageous rebel dwarfs join forces with Snow White as she fights to reclaim her birthright and win her Prince in this magical adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences the worldĀ over. The film also stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the Prince, and Nathan Lane (The Birdcage) as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.”

I love when movies don’t take themselves to seriously and when they promote girl power! This movie does all of the above. With Snow White going to save herself to the Prince telling her why is she trying to change the endings when people like it the way it is and going as far as to say their as audience testers who agree. It was hilarious. I loved that the dwarfs kicked butt and took names! Nathan Lane was hilarious as always and Julia Roberts was sheer perfection as the queen. The stand out star for me had to be Armie Hammer! He’s not only gorgeous, but he’s a brilliant actor and in all honesty he was PRINCE CHARMING COME TO LIFE! His mannerisms and the way he spoke, frankly everything about him was Prince Charming in this film.

Mirror MirrorĀ is a perfect the perfect film to see with your daughters or with your family.Ā  It teaches girls that they should stand on their own two feet, which I think is a great message to teach to little girls. I wouldn’t take very small children to see it as they may be scared at some of the ending scarier scenes but it’s great for tweens, teens, and adults for sure!

Mirror Mirror is in theaters everywhere March 30th! I highly recommend you run out and see it with your family or heck just go see it!
