Hey All!

Each year I say I’m going to get healthy, lose weight and de-stress and each year I seem to fail miserably. I know I’ve been saying this here on the blog for the past two years and I do try, but life happens or the blog gets so busy, I always end up going off track.  I sit at a computer ALL DAY LONG most days working and do get out an exercise and don’t eat the best, since I want to eat quick so I can get back to work. Work consumed my life for the past two years and I’m done with it! This year I’m done with being over weight, unhealthy and out of shape. I also want to have a baby, while I’m young enough to still have one safely and I honestly don’t feel healthy enough at my current weight to do it. I’m done with not putting my health and wellness first, before my business. I’m taking action and I’m getting some much needed help from Jenny Craig! I know I’m going to succeed with my weight goals in 2017, by taking this step.

I just signed up for the program and I have some awesome help in the form of a Jenny Craig consultant, who I report to once a week.
Each week, my consultant will work with me on my menu, discuss any challenges from the previous week and determine a plan for the week ahead. Plus, my consultant will keep track of my success with weekly weigh-ins and teach me how to self-monitor. It’s nice to have someone to hold me accountable for when I fall off the wagon. It makes it so much easier to stay on a weight loss plan when you have your own cheerleader in your corner each week. She almost acts like a coach guiding me each step of the way.

At Jenny Craig, they’ve made personal support the cornerstone of what they’ve done for 30 years. Every member is paired with a dedicated consultant who provides them with one-on-one support to identify their challenges and goals, and helps them to create unique weekly meal and activity plans. Consultants provide education on portion control, healthy eating habits and teach members strategies such as how to combine delicious Jenny Craig Meals and Snacks with Fresh & Free Additions that are rich in water and fiber to keep them feeling full longer with fewer calories.

We just had our first video consultation to go through everything in the program and to go over my meals. That’s a screen capture of our session above. For members who don’t live near a center, Jenny Craig Anywhere offers one-on-one support through consultations over the phone or via video chat. This is awesome because you can essentially meet with your consultant any where you are in the world. You just need wifi and SKYPE and you can always make your consultant meeting. Being that I travel a lot for the blog, this is a god send!

Getting started was super easy to follow the menu and jump right in because the meals for each day are planned for you and they also send your meals to you frozen. They have more than 100 premium menu items to love in flavors you can’t resist, created by 40 professional chefs. It’s REAL FOOD folks that’s simply frozen! It’s not like those other crazy diets where you add water to the meat to actually make the meat. Yuck! I’ve tried a bunch of diets in my time and this one has the best food by far!

I’ve been doing it for about a week and I’ve already lost 1 pound. Hey! That’s progress for me! Jenny Craig members can expect to lose an average of 1-2 pounds per week, which is a healthy range of weight loss.

I love that I can easily take Jenny with me where ever I go!
