Hey All!
As you all know I’m getting married and I thought to myself, “What would be a great way to have some friends aka some of the Bridal Party over to discuss and help me plan the wedding?” I came up with the idea to have a little tea party that we can sit back, relax, and sip some of my favorite Bigelow Tea. Why Bigelow tea in particular you ask? Well I love that its a family owned company and it’s always easy to locate in the stores I shop at like Walmart.
I also have fond memories of drinking Bigelow tea. I have never been much of a coffee drinker, So my grandmother used to buy me Bigelow Tea when I was a kid, so I can sit and drink something and pretend I was grown up as they drank their coffee and gossiped.
Since Bigelow has a nostalgic sentiment to me and it is #AmericasTea, I thought why not have a tea party for something as meaningful as my wedding. I ran out to Walmart and got myself some of my favorite teas. You can see my entire shopping trip on my Google Plus Album. I came home and got ready for some friends and the bridesmaids to come over. I put on a pot of tea…
And set the table as if we were having tea at high noon in London.
Tea and biscuits as the British would call it. I wanted to have a fun and relaxing day sipping tea with my girls as those are the kinds of memories I have of drinking my Bigelow tea.
I got out some wedding magazines…
And my wedding planner and we got to the girl talk and we got to the girl talk and wedding chatter.
It was such a fun time and I always feel so royal drinking out of my crown cups.
It was another great memory with my Bigelow tea. I know I will have many more memories relaxing with my Bigelow tea in the future.

Very nice post! I love my tea too!!!
i’m switching from Soda to tea. Need to drop away from the sweeteners and use a bit of honey to sweeten my tea for better overall health. Thanks!
What a cute idea! I thought about doing my bridal shower as a tea party but my friends planned it so that didn’t happen. Maybe for my bachelorette party!
I agree. What a great idea!
I love my tea, too, especially organic tea! 🙂
I really like how Bigelow Tea Bags come sealed in their own little pouches. I like other teas, but really don’t like open tea bags because the smells and the flavors sort of get mingled up that way.
I love your mugs — those are perfect for a tea party! And such a great idea having tea and cookies while working on your wedding plans.
Mmm I love their cherry vanilla they used to make!
