My Favorite Sick Day Movies/TV Shows!

Hey All!

When you’re a female entrepreneur with your own business to run, no one to cover for you, and a household to run, you just can’t take a sick day! I’m working very hard this year, so I can hire my first employee who can cover me if I get sick. In the mean time, if I do get sick I either have to just push through the work or take a break to regain my strength. I can’t check out at the first sign of a sneeze, so DayQuil SEVERE and NyQuil SEVERE help me to survive my on-the-go lifestyle.

Thankfully, I also work from home and make my own hours and schedule, so I can take those much-needed breaks to the couch. Sometimes DayQuil and some quality couch time is just the thing you need. It’s hard to accept defeat when I get sick because, just like my planner says below, “I AM VERY BUSY!”

But some days, the couch and a much needed break wins over everything! You just can’t get anything done if you’re body needs rest when it’s under the weather.

When this happens and I’m alone at home, I love to curl up on the couch with my furry blanket and emoji pillow and watch my favorite movies and binge watch my favorite TV shows.

Thankfully, I have some DayQuil SEVERE and NyQuil SEVERE, to help me stop coughing and stop sneezing, so I can get back to feeling myself again and enjoy some popcorn as I watch! My favorite popcorn to make is some rosemary and olive popcorn. It’s beyond delicious!

When I’m resting on the couch and taking a sick day, my favorite movies to watch are comedies and action movies. Besides DayQuil SEVERE/NyQuil SEVERE, I firmly believe laughter is my best medicine.

My husband says, I have an inner frat boy inside of me because I love to watch the following movies over and over again when I’m sick.

2. Anchorman 1 and 2
3. Revenge of The Nerds
4. Talladega Nights
5. The Wedding Ringer (Because I’m obsessed with Kevin Hart!)
6. Monster Squad
7. Anything Marvel and Star Wars. (I know they are not comedies but I love them and watch them, too!)
8. Any Eddie Murphy, Kevin Hart or Dane Cook Comedy Special Movie.
9. Teen Witch
10. Sixteen Candles

My favorite TV Shows to watch over and over again and binge watch are:

1. Sex and the City
2. My So Called Life
3. Game of Thrones
4. The Walking Dead
5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
6. The Flash
7. The Muppets
8. Supernatural

I know I have some very not so Brite & Bubbly taste in movies and TV.

I’m always so thankful to have my DayQuil SEVERE when I’m feeling under the weather, so I can really enjoy that break time I get whenever I take a rare sick day. I can also rest easily through the night with my NyQuil SEVERE.
