Nick’s Ninja Turtles Toys Rock! #Review

Hey All!

As you all know I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. A huge part of my childhood was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I used to love the turtles and I had all their toys when I was a kid. I even went to see their Turtles live show at Radio City Music hall when I was a kid.Ā  That’s how much I loved the turtles. I was thrilled to hear they were coming back with a whole new show on Nickelodeon. What’s even better is April (the human woman reporter character from the show) is now a Blogger! Yes she’s a blogger! Woot Woot! To celebrate this awesome new show Nick was kind enough to send me an assortment of goodies for the kidlets in my home. They love Ninja turtles just as much as I do as I passed my toys onto them.

The action figures we got for Raphael and Michelangelo have more than 12 points of articulation!Ā  These action figures are the most highly detailed and articulated Turtle figures ever made! Each turtle figure is uniquely sculpted, with heights ranging from 4.25 inches to 4.75 inches, to capture the individual personalities of the characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show.

They Feature:

  • Impulsive, creative and very social, Michelangelo is the heart and soul of the Ninja Turtles
  • Michelangelo is master of the Kusarigama, nunchucks with a secret and a sharp surprise
  • Tough, quick-to-act and hot-tempered, Raphael’s a powder keg ready to explode on unsuspecting enemies everywhere
  • The biggest of his mutant brothers, Raph has a “why sneak around when you can bash some heads instead?” attitude

The Leonardo Flingers figure we got features a unique and innovative way to launch weapon projectiles. Leo and Mike fling sewer lid and pizza discs from their chest. Roll the figure sideways on a hard flat surface and the right arm reaches for the disc and flings it forward. Each figure includes 10 discs. Don and Raphe throw Bo’s and sais over their shoulders. Roll the figure sideways on a hard flat surface and the right arm reaches back, grabs the bo or sai and flings it forward. Each figure includes 3 Bo’s and sai’s.

The Flingers also feature:

  • The Turtles hit the streets and fight back with rapid-firing Flingers action; Battle clad with rad junkyard armor, Leo’s swiping sideways and slinging sewer covers, firing one after another, mowing down the Foot Clan
  • Load Sewer Covers; Roll Leo Sideways; Automatically Flings
  • 10 Rapid Firing Sewer Covers
  • Rapid-firing Flingers action

We love Lego, so it’s beyond adorable to see the Ninja Turtles as Lego figures. Give the villains the slip with a hot slice of turtle power. The Kraang has Michelangelo locked tight in a laser-shield prison inside his lab. Use Michelangelo’s leftover pizza to turn a sticky situation into a slick escape. Slide the pizza through the prison bars to make the Foot Soldier slip and fall. Then activate the explosion function on Michelangelo’s cage to escape. Once he’s free, battle The Kraang in his awesome mech walker with dual laser flick missiles. Be ready for a wild ride through the city sewers when The Kraang detaches the mech walker’s legs to create a flying escape pod. Don’t let him get away.

It Features:

  • Includes 3 minifigures: Michelangelo, foot soldier and 1 character: The Kraang
  • Features a laser shield prison with explosion function; the Kraang’s mech walker and pizza
  • Walker measures over 2″ (6cm) high, 3″ (9cm) wide and 3″ (9cm) long
  • Blast and jump out of the laser-shield prison with the explosion function
  • Includes 4 weapons: nunchucks, mace and dual flick missiles

All these toys are so much fun and my kids love them! I’m saving a few for the Holidays as these are sure to make the hottest toys for Christmas.
