Our Bedtime Tips Con Leche! #Positivismo

Hey All!

Bedtime can be a chaotic time for most families. There are baths to take and teeth to brush; pajamas to put on and bedtime stories to read.  With my teen, my nephew, and niece all to put together every other day of the week it can be sometimes tough to get to bed. I know we have a bunch of tricks to get our kids and ourselves to sleep! As you can see in the pic below I do so much in a day I pass out in no time at all. I just lay down and I’m out.

My teen can’t sleep with out his cup of milk to this day and he also can’t sleep with out his dog chico. They snuggle all night long.

When it comes to the smaller kids my tips would be to:

  • Wear them out doing the day which physical activities and games.
  • Make sure if they are toddlers that they take their naps during the day.
  • Make sure you’re kids are drinking a class of Milk before bed.
  • Make sure your kids are going to sleep at the same hour each day.
  • And you might want to check out www.otroscuentos.com to download the collection of bedtime stories to read with your children as you give them their glass of milk for bed. It’s what we’ve been doing as of late.

Sending your kids to bed early with a glass of milk may help them to be more awake and alert the following morning. My Fictional Friend El Maestro Del Vaso Medio Lleno also highly recommends it!

Also Remember to tune in every night between 7-9 pm PT to Telemundo and Univision to watch the California Milk Board’s TV spot, “Ya es hora de ir a la cama” which reminds parents and children that it’s time to go to bed!
