Hey All!

I recently had the honor of being invited to attend the Sandals Resort media luncheon in West Los Angeles, at The London Hotel. I was thrilled for this opportunity as I had been heavily researching Sandals to see if it would be a great option for me and my now husband to take our honeymoon.

In case you didn’t know Beaches Resorts are the family focused versions of Sandals (which are more couple/honeymoon focused).

We were treated to all the style and class that a Sandals resort has with a 3 course meal that included a beautiful salad, salmon and potatoes, and…

An amazing chocolate soufflé dessert. It was a delightful way to have lunch with such a fantastic resort company.

During the event we heard from various representatives of Sandals Resorts which included the CEO Adam Stewart. I had no idea that Sandals was still a family owned business. His father created Sandals over 30 years ago and it has been important to him and his father (who still works at the company to this day) to make the resorts the best All-Inclusive Resorts around. I personally love businesses that are still family owned and operated. It was so great to learn about the resort and it’s incredible history from Adam and the amazing Sandals representatives who were in attendance.

I also met the Director of Weddings and Romance at Sandals named Marsha-Ann Brown.  Yes they have someone in charge of making sure it is the most romantic experience you will ever have if you visit their resorts. She gave me a quiz that would help me determine where and how I would like to take my honey moon. They have so many fabulous options it’s very had to decide on where you’d like to go. There is a reason that Sandals Resorts has remained the “Most Awarded All-Inclusive Resorts Ever” to this date.

This luncheon was the opportunity to showcase why Sandals has maintained this title. I will say they truly made a believer out of me.

I mean look at these bungalows in the sea. Wouldn’t you love to stay in one? It looks like one fantastic once in a lifetime experience that you couldn’t find some place else.

Another great aspect about Sandals is “The Sandals Foundation” (the philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts International). Through this foundation they as a company have donated food, clothing, money, and books to children in need to improving literacy, comprehension and vocabulary among local island students. The foundation also gives the option for resort guests to volunteer and donate as well. I’ve never seen a tourist attraction or resort encourage it’s guests to be philanthropic. It was very refreshing to hear a company cares so much about it’s neighbors and the islands they work on.

Getting an inside look at this amazing resort and company made me truly hope to visit one of their fabulous resorts one day. Stay tuned to see if we can make it there for our dream honeymoon.

We surely would love to go and experience all that Sandals has to offer! Hopefully Sandals will have us one day.

They now have properties in Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, Antigua, Grenada, and Saint Lucia. All are equally fabulous.

I was solely invited to attend this Lunch and event. All Opinions are that of my own.
