Hey All!
It’s sadly the end of the summer and we decided to go out with a bang! We threw a little end of summer foodie themed pool party with all our favorite food themed pool floats and products. Little is an understatement as you can see. Thanks a bunch to the folks over at Big Mouth Inc for sending us a bunch of these amazing products to help us put on our colorful end of summer bash! We went all out and it was a blast. We wanted to share it with you today, so you too can celebrate the end of the summer with your own bash. Summer was such a fun time, why not send it off with one last fun in the sun party! I know I will definitely miss the summer, but I can’t wait for the holidays!
Enough about that! Here is what we had at our party!
We had this awesome cooler which we decked out with some letter magnets that we got at the Target dollar section and some fun food themed patch magnets. We got our cooler from World Market, but it’s sadly sold out. You can get a fun red one right HERE on Amazon, for around the same price and it will be shipped to you asap with your Amazon prime, if you’re in a rush to throw your party! You can see how to make this patch covered cooler right here on my friend Aww.Sam’s site. I actually made mine with some stickers as well. You can essentially add magnets to anything and decorate your cooler.
I had a bunch of ice cream, donut, and taco pillows. Which you can see how to make this taco pillow right here.
I had mini flamingo and watermelon pool floats, which are also from Big Mouth. Pineapple and popcorn sunglasses. Ice cream hand fans and watermelon and pineapple sippy cups!
I had a donut frisbee, donut mini drink pool floats, and a donut hole beach ball. All again from Big Mouth Inc. They were rocking it this year with the foodie beach products.
We had a selection of beach blankets to choose from for our guests.

All three are beyond adorable, but my heart belongs to the donut of course!
I’m going to use these all year long since I love them so much!
And if you’re going to be out in the sun to wish summer goodbye, you’ll definitely need a fun sun hat! If you want to make a foodie themed one, you can make my ice cream sun hat, or you can make one of the other sun hats I made like this “Beach Please” or Emoji heart eyes sun hat!
To make the beach please hat, you simply need some black vinyl, a sun hat, a to download these free printables of the words Beach and Please. When you download them, you can upload the word images into your craft cutting machine and cut the words out or you can trace the words onto the back of your vinyl before you pull off the paper to reveal the sticky back and cut it out that way. Stick the letters onto the hat and mod podge or fabric glue the letters on so they are secure. That’s how you make that hat.
To make the emoji hat you’ll need some large sequin hearts, a yellow sun hat, and some black vinyl. You simply glue on the sequin hearts to the top of your yellow sun hat with a hot glue gun or fabric glue. You then cut out a mouth shape from black stick on vinyl and secure it onto the hat with mod podge or fabric glue. Let it dry and you have yourself a cute emoji sun hat.
Get out and soak in the sun!
We had a ton of pool floats to lounge in, lots of amazing treats to eat and drinks to drink out of our foodie sippers. It was such a fun time!
