Thank you Jenny Craig for sponsoring this post. — Get serious about losing weight with Jenny Craig!
It’s been about 3 months since I shared in my previous blog post that I was embarking on a weight loss journey with Jenny Craig. Today, I wanted showcase what has stood out to me most about Jenny Craig on my weight-loss journey. First and foremost, since I started Jenny Craig, I’m so excited to report I’ve lost about ten* pounds, which was one of my weight loss goals. Jenny Craig members can expect to lose an average of 1-2 pounds per week, which is a healthy range of weight loss. I kept to that amount of weight loss a week perfectly. I couldn’t have done it with out the help of my Jenny Craig Consultants. I actually had two consultants, as I had to switch consultants mid way because my 1st consultant didn’t work schedule wise. They were both amazing and super helpful with providing me support and tips on what to do if I had to go off diet. With Jenny Craig, you always have someone there to cheer you on, motivate you and keep you on track. *Results not typical. Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs. per week. I received promotional consideration.
Being serious about losing weight doesn’t mean you have to give up enjoying the foods you love. Jenny Craig has more than 100 menu items, where 40 professional chefs make all the difference. The healthy portioned food and Fresh & Free Additions made it so easy to stay on diet. I had so many meals and snacks to choose from, which I greatly enjoyed. I’m one who has to like and enjoy what I’m eating or I can’t eat it. I had a bunch of favorites from the menu items to choose from for my 2 week supply of food. You can see a few of them below!
Managing my meals for the week was also super easy and quick. I could do it while I was planning everything out for the week for my blog and life. The personalized menu sheets and menu planner make it so simple to plan. I would just fill out the menu sheet for the week with everything I was going to eat. During the week I can just follow it and not have to worry about what I was going to eat for the week.
It was also super simple to take the diet on the road with me. I could easily slip my breakfast bars and snack bars into my purse.
I could keep a box of snack bars on my vanity, so I can easily grab them as I’m getting ready. I didn’t want to forget to put them in my purse before I left the house.
Another thing that kept me motivated was, this motivation/encouragement board that I created for myself. It’s filled with fun prints that have encouraging sayings that help boost my self esteem and keep me motivated. It kept my spirits lifted and my weight loss focus on track when ever I felt the urge to just go out for a burger. It also has a bag of confetti on it so I can toss it when I reach my weigh goal. I know I’m going to reach it soon with the help of Jenny Craig!
In case you couldn’t tell, the strawberry yogurt bars and s’mores bars are my favorite snack time bars.
I’m ten* pounds lighter and feeling great! It was the first goal I set for myself to reach and now I’m on to my next goal. I don’t hate getting on the scale any more because each week the number keeps going on and it makes me beyond happy every time I see that number go down. With the support of my dedicated, personal consultant to help me navigate life’s more ‘tempting’ situations, success is even easier. I know this journey is going to be a success!
If you’re looking for a great way to reach your weight loss goals, I highly recommend you check out Jenny Craig. With Jenny Craig, members develop a healthy relationship with food, build an active lifestyle and create a more balanced approach to living.
And make yourself a motivational board like I did. You need to keep yourself reminded of just how awesome you are on this journey and this board and your Jenny Craig consultant will do just that.
