Hey All!
I donāt know if you know, but being a Blogger means Iām beyond busy! The holidays have arrived and itās one of the busiest times of year. Itās also one of the most hectic times, because not only do I have an excess amount of work this time of year for the blog, I have to maintain a household and try to keep my self cootie free. Iām not complaining, as I love what I do, but itās a lot of work. The blog is what I have fun with and the choresā¦well who enjoys chores right? With the Flu running ramped in schools and my husband working in a hospital, itās only a matter of time before those germs are brought home. I work from home in my Brite & Bubbly home studio, hence why thatās a big issue if an outbreak of illness takes over the house.
Who has time for sick days?! Not me! I donāt have anyone to cover for me if I get sick. Iām working on building a team, but at the moment, I donāt have an assistant or anyone who helps me with the DIY, recipes, or photography for the site. If I get sick, all that work piles up and it doesnāt get done. Weāre talking thousands of photos donāt get edited and dozens of posts donāt get done. It will all be waiting for me when I do get better and I canāt handle getting that behind. If I get behind in work, I get behind in all aspects of life.
This is a nightmare for me! Thankfully I have DayQuil/NyQuil Severe, so I can power through the day I do catch a cold. Sure whenever Iām sick, I just want to stay in my tasty treats bed and snuggle with my donut pillow. I could sleep all day and destroy my schedule, but I just canāt do that!
I keep my trusty DayQuil and NyQuil on my nightstand at the first sign of a sneeze. One dose of my DayQuil Severe gives me the power to get out of bed and get started with my day.
Just to give you an idea of what a typical day in the life of Vanessa is like, I have to get out of bed and get started on household cleaning like laundry. I have to get to the piles of clothing the family leaves for me before the dog gets to it. Yes, our dog Mr. Pink loves to sit his little dirty bum on any pile of clothing he finds! Thatās him happily sitting on a $100 sweater in the picture below. He got to the piles before I could on this day. He got lucky and he couldnāt be happier! Gremlin!
After the chores are done, I have to get to work for the site and my social media channels. That can involve going through hundreds of emails, photo props for shoots, organizing schedules, shooting projects for posts, and getting posts done.
I also have to go through dozens of boxes and bags that have more new photo props or products to be used in campaigns that arrive day to day.
These props and products all have to be organized and put away as well. If I get sick all of this stays right where it is, since my husband works all day, I have to get it all done myself.
I thank my lucky stars that I can make it through the day with my DayQuil Severe when Iām feeling under the weather. I can also rest easily through the night with my NyQuil Severe. Getting a good night sleep allows me to have more energy to tackle the work awaiting me for the next day. They are both a lifesaver for my sanity, my family and my blog.
DayQuil/NyQuil Severe relieves your worst cold & flu symptoms so you can and go back to doing the things you love and canāt miss. My life is about enjoying every Brite & Bubbly moment and embracing the adventure each day brings. Iām extra thankful DayQuil/NyQuil Severe gives me relief I need when Iām feeling down to allow me to keep my edge.
