Yummy & Easy DIY Pie Cookies!

Hey All!

July 4th is around the corner and there is nothing more patriotic than good old fashion America Pies!Ā  I don’t know about you, but it’s too hot to put on the oven and bake up some pies, so I wanted to make a no-bake patriotic pie themed treat to celebrate the holiday with!Ā  It’s also a super easy last minute July 4th themed treat to make, so you can have some pie enjoy as you celebrate the July 4th holiday. Check out these Yummy & Easy DIY Pie Cookies! They are really quick and easy to make and you can even use these for any patriotic holiday celebration!

Here is how to make them!

  • 1 can Apple Pie Filling
  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 can Blueberry Pie Filling
  • 1 pkg. Lorna Doone Shortbread Cookies
  • 1 container Cool Whip
  • Star Piping Tip and piping bag

First you spoon the cool whip into piping bag or plastic bag with a star tip. You then lay cookies out on a baking sheet, and pipe little stars on top of each cookie around the edges.

They will look like this and you can make as many as you want!

Once you’ve piped all your cookies, you then spoon a little dollop of pie filling onto the center of each cookie, using flavors of your choice.

Put them on a serving dish and they are ready to eat! If you don’t plan on serving them too quickly, keep them in the freezer so the whipped cream doesn’t start to get runny!

These are a simple way to get that pie fix you need as you celebrate this July 4th weekend!

I hope you enjoy these Yummy & Easy DIY Pie Cookies as much as I do!
