Hey All!

As you all know I recently had the opportunity to attend the Delivery Man Movie premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA a few weeks ago. I was thrilled to attend as I got the opportunity to see this fantastic film that I have been looking so forward to seeing.

DreamWorks Pictures’ “Delivery Man” stars Vince Vaughn as affable underachiever David Wozniak, whose anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years earlier resulted in 533 children. David must now embark on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but also the father that he could become.

The film also stars Chris Pratt and Cobie Smulders. Everyone’s performance in the film is spectacular. It’s truly one of the best performances I’ve ever seen from Vince Vaughn.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how moved I was by this film. It’s not the normal comedy you see in a Vince Vaughn film. This is a story with heart and meaning.

I can give you a run down of the picture and tell you all about the film, but I don’t want to spoil the entire film for you. I think you should see it and find out all the details when you see it. Instead I wanted to share 5 reasons why I think you must see this film.

And here they are:

1. You have to see how this movie takes on the approach if someone found out they had 533 children. The way Vince Vaughn’s character takes on the notion of being a father to 533 children is perfect. His character is there for his children in what ever way he can be. It showcases that even if you don’t know your children it doesn’t mean you can’t be there for them and love them. The approach he takes I feel can honestly teach people how to be better parents if they see this film.

2. Vince Vaughn’s performance as David Wozniak is perfection. This is the best performance I’ve seen him give since Swingers. He truly shows his acting chops in this film and it’s a far departure from the slap stick comedies we’ve seen him in lately that he’s come to be known for. His performance not only makes you sympathize with the character, but also makes you root for the character regardless of all his flaws. He showcases perfectly how a man can truly go from being a screw up to a responsible father.

3. This is a film anyone can enjoy. You can take your entire family to see this film and even your kids will enjoy it. It’s the perfect family film in my opinion. It’s a great film to see Thanksgiving day as you’ll be with your family!

4. The relationship the character David Wozniak has with his kids is priceless and a must see. The character goes through unique experiences with each child he meats. Some are extremely touching experiences that will leave you reaching for your tissues. For example there is a scene in which the character David secretly spends the day with all his children and he decides to bring the disabled child he discovered he had to the festivities as well. He didn’t want his other child to be left out because he was disabled. It’s such a beautiful seen to watch.

5. It’s a unique film with a great story. This is rare for movies now-a-days to have. It’s funny, it’s moving, and it’s such a well done film. It’s truly the epitome of a feel good movie. I think that’s the best reason to want to see a film in my opinion. I love movies that capture me emotionally and this movie surely does this.

Delivery Man is out Today! It’s truly a fantastic film. I highly recommend you run out and see it tonight!
