Hey All!
Remember that fun trip we sent our friend Sam to cover for us at the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resort Punta Cana last month, well she went and had a blast. Here is Sam to tell you all about her fantastic experience.
Hey guys, it’s Sam here again from Aww Sam and I’m so excited to show you how amazing my trip to the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resort Punta Cana last month was! This was my first time traveling to the Dominican Republic (and my first time traveling out of the country for that matter!) and I couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful place to go for my first tropical trip. And guess what you guys?! I got to see some palm trees in person!
There were so many amazing experiences that we got to have, so let’s jump into some of our favorite moments from our trip! P.S. I didn’t get a photo because I ate them so quickly (whoops!), but there was a cupcake bar in our room complete with chocolate sauce and sprinkles! You don’t see one of those in your hotel room everyday! Just one of the perks of staying at this amazing resort.
Our room was adorable and it had a giant Nickelodeon blimp at the foot of the bed. I’m thinking I need one of these for decoration in my apartment now!
If you’ve ever watched Spongebob and wished that an actual giant pineapple house existed, your wish has come true because you can stay at the Pineapple Villa at the resort! The outside is actually a GIANT pineapple, can you believe that? Writing this down on my wishlist for when I eventually buy a house.
We obviously made sure to spend a lot of time in the infinity pool and I had to bring my drink floats and pineapple cup (shoutout to Spongebob!) along for the ride.
Can you blame us for wanting to spend so much time in the pool when the view looked like this?! And see those little cabanas on the beach? I made sure to soak up the sun lounging in one of those as often as I could.
One of my favorite things that we got to do was go to the Spacewalker restaurant. I’m a huge Sci-fi fan, so this restaurant was right up my alley. They even have a spaceman suit greeting you right when you walk in the door! We had such wonderful food the whole trip and there were so many different varieties to choose from. We had Japanese food one night, burgers, and Italian during our stay. There’s definitely something for everyone to eat at this fun resort!
This was one of the desserts we ate right in our room. They were little cakes, and those standing swirls on the back of the plate are actually made out of chocolate! How cool is that?!
