A Graduation Gift Guide for Those Fabulous Graduates of 2014!

Hey all!

It’s hard to believe we are gearing up for our teen’s graduation from high school. Time flies, and you hope you have given your teen the tools and guidance he or she needs to succeed in this world. I remember when I graduated from high school and college. It was such a sense of accomplishment. I also remember all the great gifts I received to make sure I was ready for college. As we’re gearing up for college, we need to get him some great gifts to get him ready as well.

Here is a great graduation gift guide I’ve put together for friends and myself who are searching for great graduation gift ideas. I’m sure those of you with teens graduating this year will find this guide handy as well.

1. Leaving home for college can be nerve-wracking. The It’s Gonna Be Okay Journal is great for those days when your grad may be homesick or feeling down. It’s filled with motivational phrases that can get your grad through those tough college days. It can be found on knockknockstuff.com.

2. Every graduate needs a good PC for graduation. The Microsoft store has some great Graduation PC Offers. You can get $100 toward the purchase of a PC $599 or more from 5/1 to 7/6. We love this Samsung ATIV One 5 Style DP515A2G-K02US Touchscreen All-in-One PC as it’s a great desktop computer. With its pure white body and sleek profile, the ATIV One 5 Style makes the perfect addition to any dorm room! Also all teachers and  students save 10% always at the Microsoft store. Don’t forget they may need accessories for their computer. If you buy a new PC, you get 30% off Microsoft hardware accessories at the Microsoft store from 5/11 to 6/15.

3. While taking notes in their new college classes, they’ll need a great tablet. We’re thinking of getting the Surface Pro 3 128GB / Intel i5 as it’s a tablet that can replace their laptop and it has its own little keyboard system that makes it feel like a laptop.

4. Every graduate needs a great phone to keep in touch with their parents. You still want those graduates to keep in touch even if they may or may not be leaving home. A great smartphone is the Nokia Lumia Icon mobile phone. Your grad can get gorgeous HD video and awesome stereo sound. A 20-megapixel camera and single-finger zoom make it easy to get close to the action. It’s a great gift for teens.

5. Give them a little piece of home with some Curious Explorer City Maps. From Brooklyn to Berlin, a must-pack travel guide for the grad who is heading off on a worldly adventure, found on poketo.com.

6. And last but not least give your grad the gift of being able to make their favorite easy foods like this Pizzacraft Dough Rolling Mat. They can make their own crust with this easy-to-follow slip-proof mat. It’s a great graduation gift that you can find at williams-sonoma.com.

These are just some of the great gifts we’ve found that can make great graduation gifts. If you’d like to check out some more great graduation gifts, visit a Microsoft store. You can find a store here.
