A Wish For Small Businesses! #WishForOthers

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Capital One. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey All!

I love shopping at small businesses for the holidays. It’s my way to give back to our community and to give to small business. There is nothing like shopping small in my opinion. The attention to detail you get when you shop small is fantastic. I feel that smaller business really put a lot of thought and dedication into everything they do and they do allow for a more intimate and personal experience. I love shopping and getting to know the store owners of our local small business. I’m always shopping at a soda pop/candy shop called Rocket Fizz that you can see above. They have amazing sodas and nostalgic candy you couldn’t find any place else.

Another shop I love is the Sockerbit candy shop. Yes I have a sweet tooth! It’s great to know I can fill this years holiday stocking and gift bags with some tasty treats from small businesses around out town.

There is nothing wish more for this holiday season than for these small business owners/entrepreneurs to prosper this holiday season. I hope that people share the same sentiment and shop small this year. That’s my second #WishForOthers this year.

I created a video sharing this wish for the holiday season on my Instagram that you can check out below:

Through a campaign called “#WishForOthers,” Capital One is also hoping to help make the holidays a little brighter this year by helping to share and grant people’s wish for others. During the holidays, we’re often asked what we wish for ourselves. This holiday season, Capital One is instead asking people to share their wish for others.

Check out the video below for more info on this amazing campaign:

Share your wish for someone else! It could be a wish for a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a community with hashtag #WishForOthers on Twitter, Instagram, or on the Capital One Facebook page through Dec. 23 for a chance to make it come true.
