A Year In Review For #UnstoppableMoms!

I wrote this post as part of my participation in a blog tour for The Motherhood on behalf of the makers of Children’s MOTRIN® and received compensation to thank me for taking the time to participate. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

Hey All!

As we come to a close of the year with the holidays, I am taking the time to reflect on what has inspired me to be more unstoppable through out the year. I’m also taking a moment to remember what experiences I’ve had throughout the year that taught me that I was unstoppable.

First thing that came to mind was we had to move. That was a huge challenge and I had to make sure I had everything unpacked and moved in before I left for a trip for the blog. I also wanted to make sure my family and I were settled and comfortable in our new home before the holidays.

There is nothing like unpacking and decorating a new home that makes you feel unstoppable when you’re done. It’s extremely hard to uproot your life and move to a new place, but I’m happy to say I did it and everyone is happy because I took the time to make sure we got things unpacked and settled.

Another thing to come to mind was I did a fair amount of traveling this year for the blog. I went to conference, events for brands, and events for resorts. It was a challenge to leave my family for these events, but it’s great to know I had the support of them as they know I am only trying to grow my business and make a better life for them.

There is nothing I wouldn’t do to make my family happy and for us to live the best lives possible. It’s my biggest goal in life and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to achieve it.

Another thing that has made me feel unstoppable was getting our Christmas shopping done last month! I’m usually done by early November.

I like to shop early and get my holiday shopping done as quickly as possible. I shared a video with a few holiday shopping tips with The makers of Children’s MOTRIN® and they actually shared it on their Facebook Page.

Check it out below:

These are all things I remember through out the year that have made me realize how unstoppable I can be. I’d love to hear what makes you feel unstoppable as well. Join me for the #UnstoppableMoms Twitter party Today Dec 4th at 1PM EST. Be sure to RSVP Here at this invite: http://vite.io/themotherhood

Also the makers of Children’s MOTRIN® are inspired by all the things Moms do, from quick family meals to keeping the kids entertained on rainy days. Moms may not always realize it, but they are amazing in so many ways. Moms are on call day and night and have so much unique knowledge that can really help other moms. That’s why the makers of Children’s MOTRIN® are asking moms to share this knowledge in the form of tips and tricks that help keep them going. These can be their own tips or those from moms they know, and can be about everything from how they create quick meals for their family to how they keep the kids entertained on a long drive.

The makers of Children’s MOTRIN® are asking Moms to post their tips and tricks to the MOTRIN® Facebook page under each week’s Kelly Ripa question video and for every post, Children’s MOTRIN® will donate $1 to Safe Kids Worldwide, a global nonprofit that provides moms with the tips they need to help keep their children safe. Moms could even win weekly giveaways of $100 gift cards just for posting.*

Great post, it was like sharing everything with you again 🙂 I hope you have a great holiday this year.

  • Oh I love that Motrin is donating to a great program. I think it’s neat to look back at posts and pictures.

This was a tough year for me as a mom since we took our daughter to college this fall. That was a tougher transition for me than it was for her! I didn’t feel so unstoppable at that point, but I’ve gotten more used to the idea, although I’m not too proud to say I cannot wait for her Christmas break to start so she’s home again!

I think part of the year I felt unstoppable, but definitely not all of it. I’m hoping for a banner 2015!

  • Your year in review definitely looks like a success! Moving is extremely stressful, but also extremely rewarding. I hope 2015 will bring you even more unstoppable greatness.
