I’m sure you all know by now, our dog Mr. Pink is a rescued dog that we adopted years ago. As you can see, he’s one of the most adorable dogs ever! He’s completely healthy and a spectacular dog all around. Sometimes people fear adopting dogs because they think they will have issues and I’m here to tell you that’s just not true. You can find amazing dogs at your local shelters or pet adoption events like the one PetSmart has. If you’re looking to get a new dog or cat, adoption is surely the way to go. There are so many amazing animals waiting for a loving home out there.
PetSmart is hosting their PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend on November 13th-15th. You can visit your local PetSmart store to adopt. Animal welfare organizations, including local humane societies, will be on-site at PetSmart stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico with adoptable dogs and cats during the event. Each group sets its own adoption application policies and fees (which typically include spay/neuter surgery, vaccination, microchips, etc.), so it will vary among stores. Staff and volunteers from each location will be onsite throughout the event to assist with questions and the adoption process.
We love PetSmart for all the initiatives it’s taken to help animals in need and we also love how much they love Mr. Pink. We get him groomed at PetSmart, as you can see in the picture above. Mr. Pink got a big pink heart!
We also get all his toys from PetSmart to keep him happy. As you can see he’s a very happy dog!
I’m sure you’ll find the fur baby of your dreams at your local PetSmart during the PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend. Your local store will be able to answer questions regarding exact event times and availability of specific types of pets.
