Hey All!

I wanted to give you all a little update on how my diet is going. If you’ve missed my previous posts, check my first post out HERE and my second post out HERE. Those posts will catch you up on the diet I’ve been following and why I chose to follow this diet. I’ve been on the Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion.

The plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, the Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, and the Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good. It’s been going well and I’ve lost more weight than I expected to lose. I’m down X pounds and I’m thrilled to have had these results.

It just shows you with hard work and dedication you can achieve anything you put your mind to. My goal was to lose my postpartum baby weight and gain more energy for my toddler. I’m happy to report, I can now chase him down for hours around the house (playing catch me if you can). He is non-stop and barely ever wants to sit still. I used to get very winding chasing him around. Now I’m no longer winded. That was the first change I noticed when I dropped the weight.

I couldn’t have achieved this goal thus far without the easy-to-follow meal planning, food lists, and recipe ideas.

Here is something I learned from the book in regards to most diets and food choices:

“Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”

Check out this video of some of the awesome recipes:

My main issue has always been I love sweets and starches like bread and potatoes. Thankfully they have amazing recipes like a Chili Loaded Baked Potato and a Cherry Garcia Ice Cream that I loved. They were easy to make and totally satisfied those cravings.

Cravings are the hardest thing to curb with any diet. The most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. By following the Always Eat After 7PM program, you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into both intermittent fasting increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis. This is something I’ve found to be extremely helpful.

By being strict with my diet and really following the phases of the book I’ve already achieved my goal of having more energy and losing some of my postpartum baby weight. I have a few more pounds to go to reach my goal weight, but I know I can get there on this amazing diet.

If you’d like to join me on this weight loss journey, get the book for yourself and let’s do this together!
