Hey All!

You all know I’m not really a Trekkie. I like Star Trek but I’m a HUGE Star Wars fan as everyone knows. We own a life sized R2-D2 for crying out loud. Growing up my mother up was kind of a Trekkie, so I grew up with a great appreciation of all things Star Trek.

When I was given the opportunity to review Hasbro’s new line of KRE-O building sets based on Star Trek and newest movie Star Trek: Into Darkness I just couldn’t say no. They sent me the Kreon Figure packs, The Transporter Trouble, and the U.S.S. Enterprise. Who would turn down owning their own Enterprise? Everyone whether you’re Star Wars or Star Trek fan loves the Enterprise. I confess I even own an Enterprise shaped Pizza Cutter.

It’s just a really cool space ship! My kids love KRE-O sets and anything they can build period. As these had the Star Trek element these seemed extra cool to them! I thought they were pretty cool myself.

We got to building these awesome sets the second they arrived.

They weren’t too difficult to get together. Ok…I’ll be honest the Enterprise with over 400 Pieces took some time to build!

Kre-O building sets open up exciting building play with colorful bricks, cool Kreon figures and accessory pieces to build the way you play. The Kre-O Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise has light-up features, a firing missile and cool Kreon figures to inspire your imagination to boldly go on exciting building adventures. They truly allow kids to go boldly where no kid has gone before as they play!

The Enterprise thankfully comes with some of it’s main crew. There are 5 Kreons included with the set including Captain Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy and two additional Specialist Kreon figures.  The Spock and Captain Kirk figures were of course the favorites in the house! I thought they were adorable.

Spock was also my favorite. The kids loved the Enterprise missiles as they played.

The ship has an opening lid to reveal the command bridge illuminated by light-up LightTech technology. It’s truly an amazing set.

It’s super detailed the thought that went into creating this set and it’s adorable. It truly is a great set to play with and build. It transports you into the world of Star Trek as you play. It’s also a great set for any Star Trek fan or KRE-O set fan. The transporter set comes with it’s own Scotty and Klingon figure.

We love these sets and I’m sure you will as well.

The Enterprise Set costs about $49.99 and the Transporter costs $9.99.

It’s a great value for all the Star Trek fun you get.
