Hey All!
I love Easter with a passion and I always love to make some fun Easter themed treats with my favorite Easter candies. Most of those candies are honestly made by Hershey, So this Easter I’ve decided I’m going to Celebrate with Hershey’s by using their candy to make an adorable recipe. Check out these amazing Cadbury Creme Egg Candies Easter Bunny & Easter Egg Candy Cupcakes! These cupcakes have an adorable Easter Bunny who’s digging for those Easter Eggs. He’s made out of a Cadbury Creme Egg and the cupcake is also decorated with some Whoppers Robin Eggs candy, and some Jolly Rancher Gummies Bunny Food Shaped Candy. The Easter Egg Candy Cupcakes are made with some Whoppers Robin Eggs candies & Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans. Hershey has distributed the classic Cadbury Creme Egg Candies in the U.S. for decades, and this Easter favorite combines traditional milk chocolate with a center of pure gooey goodness that people know and love.
To Make These Cupcakes You’ll need:
- Cadbury Creme Eggs Candies. 5 or more depending on how many you’d like to make.
- Whoppers Robin Eggs Candies.
- Jolly Rancher Gummies Bunny Food Shaped Candy.
- Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans Candies.
- 1 box of white cake mix and ingredients found on your cake mix box
- Green Cupcake Liners
- White Sprinkles
- Green Food Coloring
- White Gum Paste
- Pink Icing
- Disposable Pastry Bags
- Grass Decorating Tip
- White Frosting
- Wax Paper
- Cookie Sheet
- White Chocolate Candy Melts
First you want to make your Bunny Feet and Tails using some white gum paste to cut out feet and roll little white ball tails. You then add the paw prints with pink icing. You let these dry over night. When it’s time to make your cupcakes you start off these cupcakes by making your cupcakes by following the directions on your cake mix box. Add about 7 drops of green food coloring to the cake batter so the batter turns green. You pour your batter into your green cupcake liners and bake according to the time it says to bake on your cake mix box. It’s usually about 19-20 minutes. Once cupcakes are done remove from the baking pan and let them cool completely. You then melt your White Chocolate Candy Melts and then you dunk half of your Cadbury Creme Egg candy into the melted white chocolate. You then dunk the Cadbury Creme Egg candies covered in white chocolate into the white sprinkles. You have to do this very quickly as the white chocolate is hot and will melt your Cadbury Creme Egg candy if you don’t move quickly. After you’ve dunked them into the sprinkles, place them on a wax paper lined cookie sheet and put them in the freezer so they hard up quickly.
You take the rest of your melted which chocolate and place it into a Disposable Pastry Bag. Once the white sprinkle covered Cadbury Creme Egg candies are hard, you place some of the white chocolate on the backs of the bunny feet and tails and place them onto the white sprinkle covered Cadbury Creme Egg candy forming the Easter Bunnies.
They’re actually Easter Bunny Bums but it doesn’t really sound cute saying bum right?!
Then you take your white frosting and mix it with some green food coloring and place it into a disposable pastry bag with the grass tip and coupler. You begin to frost your cupcakes so it looks like the frosting is grass on top of the cupcake.
You push your Cadbury Creme Egg candy Easter Bunnies into the center of the cupcakes so it looks like they are digging for Easter Eggs.
You then add some Whoppers Robin Eggs Candies and some of the carrot shaped Jolly Rancher Gummies Bunny Food Candy to complete the cupcake.
It’s one adorable looking cupcake when you’re done and it’s filled with an amazing Cadbury Creme Egg candy surprise inside.
I really love how they came out.
Who doesn’t love a Easter Bunny Cupcake?! I know I do and so does my family.
You can do a whole Easter Bunny Egg Hunt cupcake display for Easter by decorating some of your other cupcakes with Whoppers Robin Eggs candies and Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans Candies.
The Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans Candies really give the cupcakes a vibrant adorable look.
They’re so colorful and cute. They also smell really fruity and fantastic.
Having some candy Easter egg covered cupcakes is the perfect addition to your Easter Bunny Cupcakes.
I almost forgot to mention you can place the paws on the Easter Bunnies in any direction you’d like. I placed them both up and down to showcase a variety of bunnies digging in different ways.
They are the perfect and fun Easter treat to make! I always love to Celebrate with Hershey’s!
