Hey All!
This past weekend, which was my birthday weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to visit one of my favorite holiday attractions, Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s something I look forward to every year and I’m so excited to have the chance once again to check out this year thanks to the awesome folks at Universal Studios Hollywood. We couldn’t wait to check it out! It’s the perfect way to spend my birthday and the start of holiday season.
When we arrived at the park, we ran to check out Grinchmas. It’s located at the Universal Plaza, the elaborate grand piazza at the heart of the theme park. “Grinchmas” runs weekends on December 3-4 and 10-11, and daily from December 16 through January 1, 2017.
They have signs with a schedule that tells you everything that is going on in Whoville for Grinchmas. You can also download the Universal App for this info.
We hung out with the Grinch…

And of course Cindy Lou Who and all the who’s of Whoville.
We colored in ornaments for the Trim Up The Tree Lot…
And visited the Whoville Post Office.
Here you can partake in the “Grow Your Heart 3 Sizes” campaign where you can share your good deeds on a postcard and mail them to The Grinch. In return, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. and Random House Children’s Books, the publishers of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, will pay it forward by donating a book to a child in need through First Book on behalf of the sender. How amazing is that?
They also have a scavenger hunt going on and you get your map at the post office. You get your map stamped at various locations around the park and if you find the postal worker who, that you see below, he has a stamp for the map too! It’s a fun activity for the whole family!

And took a million and two photos!
We then went on the Studio Tour and saw the Grinchmas performance at the Whoville set.
After the studio tour, we walked around the park, which is perfectly decorated for the holidays!
Even the Minions are getting festive. You definitely want to check out the Merry Minion décor at Super Silly Fun Land.
You can’t go to Universal Studios Hollywood and not check out the Wizarding Word of Harry Potter. We had to try the Hot Butterbeer at Three Broomsticks. I AM IN LOVE with Hot Butterbeer. I have to say I like it much better than cold butterbeer. I think I’m only drinking hot from now on! That’s how much I love it!
I also stopped by Moe’s Tavern over in Springfield the Home of the Simpsons and had myself a Flaming Moe! It’s awesome! Don’t worry it’s not alcoholic. It’s simply orange soda with dry ice. Love it!
And last but not least, when we left the park, we checked out the CityWalk holiday décor. I love King Kong with his Santa Hat!
You can also visit with Santa at the amazing tree in front of the Universal Cinema. It’s pretty amazing!
If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you definitely don’t want to miss Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood.
