Clorox Clean-Up Recipes For Fun & Our Recipe For a Fun Craft! #RecipesForFun

Hey ALL!

You all know I love to get crafty and I’m an old fashioned girl who believes kids should be using their imagination much like I did when I was younger. So as you know our new favorite thing to make SOCK PUPPETS from our singular socks since it seems like the sock monster strikes every time we wash our clothing! YES we loveeeee making sock puppets. It’s our own little way of making our own at home muppets if you know what I mean. You gotta have some muppets around the house right. They make everything fun!

I know making sock puppets doesn’t sound difficult or like a fun craft to make. It may even sound a bit boring to you, but you make a child use their imagination with sock puppets. Your kids can put on a show with their sock puppets or create a world that they think is perfect for them. You don’t even have to do the tradition sock puppet where your hand is the mouth, you can switch it up and just draw on the sock and make your favorite cartoon characters as well like we love Disney so we decided to make a Mickey sock puppet not too long ago!

All you need to do this is some sort or drawing skills. I like to put my NYU animation drawing skills to good use to make sock puppets for my niece and nephew in my home. And I made them for my teen too when he was a kid.

To Make a Mickey Sock Puppet you simply Draw a half oval to start.

Then you draw a smaller whole oval underneath that.

Then you another half oval for the mouth and add two lines to each side for the mouth.

You can follow the picture above as a step by step guide to how to draw our mickey. I’m so bad at giving directions so I FIGURE a picture can say it all.

Or you can have your kids draw on the socks what ever they want and have them do it themselves. They can even make up their own characters.

This can literally took 5 minutes or less to make and it’s a great fun activity to do with the kids and it costs you nothing to make.

If only we could catch that sock monster with our army of sock puppets! This is our recipe for a fun night in making a craft. We like to use what we find around the house and enjoy each others company. Clorox has a bunch of fun recipes and crafts you can also do for your family.
