Cute And Easy Snowman Ding Dongs!

Hey All!

Hitting you with another fun and super easy to make no-bake tasty treat for you to enjoy this holiday season. These would be perfect for your kids to take to school before their holiday break or you can take them to your friends or office holiday parties. They are sure to be a hit where ever you take them. I threw these together super quickly, so please don’t mind the not-so-great photos! You can still see how cute they are regardless! It’s the taste and how you make them in real life that matters folks!

Here is how to make them!

  • 1 package of white hostess ding dongs
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 Cups of powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
  • Black, sky blue, red and orange gel food coloring
  • 4 disposable piping bags with a number 2 tip
  • 1 squeeze bottle
  • Wilton Christmas holly sprinkles
  • Wilton Christmas snowflake sprinkles

First you unwrap the ding dongs and place them on a wax covered baking sheet. You proceed to make the icing by using a standing mixer, combine the egg whites, powder sugar, vanilla, and cream of tarter and mix until stiff peaks form.

Split the icing into four bowls and add a little bit of food coloring into each bowl. One color per bowl. Scoop the red, black, and orange frosting into 3 piping bags and set aside. Scoop a little bit of the blue frosting into the last piping bag and add 1 tsp of water into the blue icing bowl and mix until combined. Icing may be a tad bit runny which is what you want! Pour the blue icing into the squeeze bottle.

Using the blue piping bag, pipe a line around 1/4 of the top of the ding dong for the snowman hat. Fill in the blue lines with the thinned blue icing.

Next you make his eyes and mouth using the black frosting! You first pipe dots for his eyes and then the mouth. Using the orange frosting, pipe on his nose. Let these sit to dry for about 20 minutes.

Next you add your accent pieces! You place two holly sprinkles onto the left corner of his hat and then place a snowflake sprinkle into the top middle part of his hat.

Using the red frosting, pipe in 3 dots under the holly sprinkles to make the berries on the holly.

Lastly, you let the snowman ding dongs completely dry for about 1 hour before enjoying!

That’s all you have to do to make them! I hope you enjoy these cute and easy snowman ding dongs as much as I do!
