I’m so thrilled to have the opportunity to chat with Debra Messing about her new Netflix film, 13 The Musical. It’s streaming now on Netflix and I’m obsessed with it. Check out our review HERE! In case you haven’t heard of this Broadway musical before, It follows a soon to be 13 year old Jewish boy Evan Goldman (Eli Golden) after his parents’ divorce. Evan and his mom Jessica (Debra Messing) move from NYC to small-town Indiana, just as his 13th birthday nears. He must master the complex social circles of his new school and win friends by turning his Bar Mitzvah into the coolest party ever.
The movie reminds me very much of High School Musical and the music and numbers are amazing. The music will stay stuck in your head!
