Hey All!
As you all know my favorite Disney cartoon is Peter Pan. I have said this many times. I love it and I’m happy to share that love with my family. Everyone in our home loves Peter Pan thankfully. I don’t have to force them to watch Peter Pan, thank god!
On August 20th, Disney released for the first time on Blu-ray PETER PAN: RETURN TO NEVERLAND!
I was thrilled when this released as I was waiting for it to come to Blu-Ray. We had to have it for our Disney Blu-Ray collection. You can experience all the thrilling action with digitally restored picture and spine-tingling high-definition sound!
If you’re not familiar with the film, here is a little about it:
Wendy’s very practical and no-nonsense daughter, Jane, begins the adventure of a lifetime when the infamous Captain Hook whisks her away to the enchanted island of Never Land. It’s up to Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Lost Boys to help Jane believe in faith, trust and pixie dust. With the first-ever Lost Girl at his side, will Peter Pan finally defeat Hook and his swashbuckling band of pirates?
The Cast includes: Blayne Weaver (Manic, 6 Month Rule), Harriet Owen (TV’s “Relative Strangers,” “Castles”), Kath Soucie (Beauty and the Beast, Wreck it Ralph), Corey Burton (Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) & Jeff Bennett (Enchanted, Bolt)
The Directors of this film is Robin Budd (Skull in the Family, Name that Toon) & Donovan Cook (Las Pelotas!, Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers)
It was written by Temple Matthews (The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas)
This film runs about 72 minutes and is the perfect continuation of the Disney Peter Pan story. It’s both very touching and fun at the same time. It’s nice to see the story continuing with Wendy’s daughter. It’s also great to see Wendy has grown up and still embraces Peter Pan.
It looked beautiful as we watched it on this Blu-Ray release. It’s a must have Blu-Ray and special edition Disney DVD. If you’re a fan of Peter Pan like we are then you should definitely run out and get this Blu-Ray!
