Disney Plus Has My Money Already!

Hey All!

One of the biggest panels I went to this past weekend at D23 Expo 2019 was the Disney+ panel! It made it’s debut with its first-ever showcase presentation and I was completely there for ALL OF IT! I can not wait to start streaming this November 12th! Disney+ plus has taken my money already folks! I’m signed up and I got the pin to prove it! I’ll share more about the deal they are having a little later. During the panel they announced the Disney+ slate of originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic and included sneak peeks, trailer premieres, and exclusive news about the service and its upcoming projects. Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who stars in the Disney+ original film “Lady and the Tramp,” hosted the lively presentation, welcoming Kevin Mayer, chairman, Direct-to-Consumer & International, to the stage to kick off the show.

Launching on November 12, 2019, Disney+ will be the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, together, for the first time. From The Walt DisneyCompany’s Direct-to-Consumer and International segment, Disney+ will offer ad-free programming with a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content.  Alongside unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment, and 30 seasons of “The Simpsons” in the U.S., the service will also be the exclusive streaming home for films released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2019 and beyond, including “Captain Marvel,” “Avengers: Endgame,” “Aladdin,” “Toy Story 4,” “The Lion King,” “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” “Frozen 2,”and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” The service will launch in select geographic territories, including U.S., Canada, and The Netherlands, followed shortly by Australia and New Zealand, with the expectation to be available in all major markets within the first two-years.

They are also having an exclusive offer for D23 Members right now for $23 off per year for a 3 years subscription to Disney+. That makes it $140 for THREE YEARS! That’s a steal in my book. You don’t have to be a paying D23 member to get the deal. Just a member of the D23 Site. You sign up for a free account and you can score this deal until September 2nd! After that you’re gonna have to pay full price folks! So join now at this LINK and save some money!

I digress…

From the Disney+ panel these are all the amazing announcements/movies and shows I’m dying to see!

First off Hilary Duff surprised the audience when it was announced she will reprise the role she made famous in an all-new Lizzie McGuire series from Terri Minsky!

I CAN NOT WAIT for Lucasfilm’s “The Mandalorian”! It’s honestly the main reason why I’m signing up for Disney+ because I NEED to see this show! It’s from executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito, and Taika Waititi, who brings the droid IG-11 to life! They premiered the teaser trailer for the first Star Wars live-action series at the panel.

Set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, “The Mandalorian” follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. Rodriguez, Kate Reinders, Mark St. Cyr, and Showrunner Tim Federle invited 3,600 fans to watch the first episode in the D23 Expo Arena and revealed the series’ teaser trailer. The 10-episode scripted series, set at the real-life East High, where the original movie was filmed, follows a group of students as they countdown to opening night of their school’s first-ever production of “High School Musical.” Watch the trailer below:

“Noelle” stars Anna Kendrick and Billy Eichner joined Sean Bailey to announce their film will premiere on Disney+ on November 12 before sharing a new trailer. In the upcoming holiday comedy, Kris Kringle’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over from their father this Christmas.
