disneyland trip

Hey All!

My happy place has always been and will always be Disneyland. My family and I go multiple times a year and we love it. We’re huge Disney fans and it’s such a magical place. My favorite time to go there is for the holidays and for our birthdays. We create so many incredible memories every time we go.

The last time I was there was for my birthday back in December and it felt so good to be back after not having gone for some time. You can imagine that going so much can get a little pricey. Thankfully, we take full advantage of the Disneyland Ready, Set, SCAN! ticket option at our local Target!

We save so much time and money getting our tickets this way. We can easily grab our tickets while we shop at our local Target. Being a So Cal Resident, we can also save on our tickets!

Disneyland family trip

Right now So Cal Residents can visit Disneyland for as low as $67 per day with the Disneyland Ready, Set, SCAN! ticket option. It doesn’t require a physical plastic card. You just buy tickets in-store at Target and make the Disneyland Park reservation later. This is a great benefit especially when you’re gifting tickets! It’s something I love to gift for birthdays and the holidays. It’s also great for families like mine who like to plan their Disneyland trips well in advance.

What’s even better, you can save on Disneyland Resort tickets at Target by simply using your Target Red Card to complete the purchase. You’ll get a 5% discount on the price of admission. That’s one of the best reasons to buy your Disneyland Resort tickets with Disneyland Ready, Set, SCAN! at Target!

They are so simple to buy and here is how you do it!

You locate the Disneyland Ready, Set, SCAN! ticket card in the gift cards section at Target. It’s usually at the edge of the gift cards section.

It looks just like this card you see below.

You simply scan the QR code like so. You can do the whole process right there in the gift card section.

I personally like to take my card over to a table in the home section of the store, so I can not be interrupted by other shoppers as I get my tickets.

I took advantage of the So Cal Resident deal. You enter quantity like you see below and then tap show me my barcodes.

A page asking for your email will pop up.

You enter your email address and tap “generate barcode”.

You’ll then get a barcode to provide to take to the cashier upon checkout.

You or the cashier scans the barcode(s) and you purchase your tickets!

How easy is that folks? Too easy! I recommend doing this after you’re done shopping at Target and are ready to check out. Remember if you have a Target credit or debit card, you’ll save 5% on your tickets! Don’t forget to use your Target card to save!

Also make note that you get about 30 minutes to check out before the barcode expires. If your barcode expires, you hit refresh and new barcodes are generated.. It’s not a big deal.

After you purchase, you’ll receive your Disneyland e-tickets via your email and you will be provided a link to make your Disneyland park reservation. You will need the barcode numbers from the Disneyland e-ticket to complete the Park Reservation process.

If you go to Disneyland as much as I do, you’re probably already familiar with the Disneyland Park Reservation process.

Again it’s such a simple way to pick up tickets for our happy place. I can’t wait to go back soon. We’re planning a trip for my son’s birthday and I know he’s going to be so excited when he learns we’re going to Disneyland!

If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland make sure to utilize the Ready, Set, SCAN! technology on your next Target run and get your Disneyland tickets!

I still have never been to Disney. I would love to go sometime though. I think it would be a blast. I know my kids would enjoy it too. I’m glad to know about this now. I’ll have to check Target the next time I go.

December prices are so expensive if you buy directions through the app, do these ready-set-scan tickets have black out dates?
