DIY Care Bears Inspired Pumpkins!

Hey All!

Today we’re hitting you with another fun throwback Care Bears inspired Halloween DIY! We first shared out easy Care Bears inspired costume idea and now we’re sharing our DIY Care Bears Inspired Pumpkins! How fun are these pumpkins folks? They are also no-carve and super easy to make. Who wouldn’t love to share some Care Bears cheer this Halloween? I know I do! These are some super cheerful and cute Halloween pumpkins. They are the perfect throwback to your childhood pumpkin!

Here is how to make these nostalgic pumpkins!

• 3 White Fake Pumpkins or Real Pumpkins. (Or if you can find a pink, yellow, and blue pumpkin already made.)
• Pink, Yellow, and Blue Spray Paint or Acrylic Paint. (You’ll need brushes too if you use acrylic paint.)
• Printable Stick On Vinyl.
• Our Free Care Bears Inspired Bellies Printable.

First off, I used a combo of spray paint and acrylic paint to paint my pumpkins the colors I needed to be because my blue spray paint can stopped working! Blasted spray pain can. If all your spray paint cans are working, you can just take your pumpkins outside and put them on a piece of cardboard or tarp and spray paint them the blue, yellow, and pink colors. If you don’t want to use spray paint, you can hand paint your pumpkins each color with some paint and a paint brush. I know Michael’s has a blue pumpkin you can buy already in that color, but you would still need to paint the stem of the pumpkin blue.
After you’ve painted your pumpkins, let them dry completely.

Cut out the Care Bear inspired belly circles from our free printable, making sure all the black is cut off.

Stick each label onto each corresponding color for each Care Bear pumpkin. Funshine Bear get’s the sun image and goes on the yellow pumpkin. Grumpy Bear gets the rain could image and goes on the blue pumpkin, and…

Cheer Bear gets the rainbow image and it goes on the pink pumpkin.

They won’t stick on perfectly since the pumpkin is rounded and beveled, so just try to flatten out the wrinkles and the image as best as you can. It will still look cute regardless.

I think the funshine bear is my favorite!

Next to the Cheer Bear of course, because hello, rainbows are my thang!

Once you have all your belly images on you’re done and you have yourself some super cute Care Bears inspired Halloween Pumpkins!

I hope you love these nostalgic throwback pumpkins just as much as I do! They bring me back to my childhood big time since I was obsessed with Care Bears as a kid and clearly still am today! Have fun picking them up and doing some Care Bear stares with them. LOL!
