How-To-DIY-Recipes

First you’ll make your frosted animal cookie headband. You’ll download, print and cut out this Free Animal Cookie Template. You’ll use this template to trace the shape of the animal cookie onto your foam. Once the foam is cut, you’ll head outside and spray paint it pink with your Shock Pink Spray Paint. You’ll need to two at least two to three coats to get it a very bright color as the foam absorbs the paint. Once you finish spray painting, you let it dry completely.

Once it’s completely dry, you them use your hot glue gun to glue on the little pom pom sprinkles onto the animal cookie. After your pom pom sprinkles are glued on, you’ll then glue the back of the giant cookie on to your white headband. Press tight on the headband and animal cookie, so they hold together and dry. Be careful with the hot glue as it does burn! I have many burns from all the costumes I made this week. It’s not fun! I digress…

Once you’re done with your headpiece, you can then glue your pom pom sprinkles to the front of your hot pink scalloped dress.

Cover the whole front of the dress and leave about two inches between each pom pom. Let it dry and that’s it! You have a super cute and festive tasty treat Halloween costume! Don’t mind my pasty white legs! I don’t tan!
