Hey All!
It’s that Holiday Poppers time of year again! You all remember when I made my Valentine’s Day and Easter Poppers right? Well this year I’m partnering with the fabulous Elba from Live Colorful to bring you these amazing and adorable Gingerbread Man and Snowman Holiday Poppers!
To make these you need:
- Scissors
- Paper Cutter
- Pink, Brown and White Crepe Paper
- X-Acto Knife
- Toilet Paper or Paper Towel Rolls
- Wrapped and Loose Candy
- Holiday Confetti
- Paper Crown and tiny prizes or toys you’d like to place inside
- Glue Dots
- And our FREE PRINTABLES found below.
First you need to download our free PDF printables that have all the little face and body details you need to make these poppers.

After you’ve downloaded your printables cut your crepe paper to the size of your popper. For these I just cut a paper towels roll in half to have a body base for the poppers.
Then you get all the items you will be placing inside the poppers ready so you can easily fill each one in a little assembly line. I used some holiday confetti from the Confetti Bar…
Silver and Gold Ribbon…
These left over paper crowns I had from an old Meri Meri poppers kit…
And some candy from Dylan’s Candy Bar and Sockerbit to fill and seal my poppers with. You can fill these with what ever you like or use them as a fun and creative small holiday gift wrapping idea.
First you carefully cut out all the pieces of the body from your free printable using either you scissors, paper cutter, and sharp X-acto knife. I used a combination of all three.
Then I wrapped my crepe paper around one of the paper towel rolls and glue it in place so it’s securely wrapped around the roll.
I then sealed off one end of the popper by wrapping a ribbon and bow at one end of the popper. I also cut down the pink crepe paper
You then begin to fill the end of the popper that is still open with the candy, crown, prizes and or gift you wish to place inside the popper.
If you’re filling them with sealed candy you can add some holiday confetti. If your candy is not sealed and is loose like the gingerbread gummie seen above I do not recommend putting confetti in the popper then.
You then seal off the other end with a ribbon and bow and then with the glue dots begin to stick on each piece of the gingerbread man and snowman.
How cute is he? I LOVE HIM! You then proceed with the same process to make however many poppers you’d like to make.
You can make only gingerbread poppers…
Or you can only make Snowman Poppers. You can also make the snowman with or with out the stocking.
I say make them both as they are both equally amazingsauce!
What ever you decide to do I hope you enjoy these poppers as much as we do! Pop em and have one fabulous holiday!
These are sure to be a huge hit with both adults and kids alike!
These are so much fun to make for the Holidays! We hope you enjoy them!
