We’re back with sadly our final Mo Willems book series post and DIY. In case you didn’t see my previous post, Mo Willems is a number one New York Times best-selling author and illustrator. We’ve been loving his Elephant & Piggie early-reader series of books and today we wanted to share the latest book that we got called Nanette’s Baguette. It’s such an adorable book and any book that involves a baguette is for me and my family. We’re all BIG bread-a-holics! Mo Willems’ hilarious new picture book, Nanette’s Baguette, follows Nannette on her first big solo trip to the bakery. But . . . will Nanette get the baguette from baker Juliette? Or will Nanette soon be beset with regret? Oh the rhymes! You’ll have to get the book and read it yourself to find out! It’s so fun to read with your kids and it’s set in a meticulously drawn and handcrafted-paper-modeled French village. All of Mo’s books are visually stunning and this one is amazing. The uniquely vibrant laugh-out-loud world of Nanette’s Baguette may be our favorite Mo creation yet! We’re loving it! I love it so much it inspired me to make some baguette and tasty treats gift tags to go with our own baguettes. This is the season of gifting baked goods, so why not tag them with some tasty treats as well!
To make these super easy gift tags you’ll need:
- Download Our Free Printable Baguette and Tasty Treats Tags HERE!
- White Cardstock
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Pink Bakers Boxes
- Hole Punch
First you bake up your favorite baguette or bake good recipe. You then download and print out our Free Printable Baguette and Tasty Treats Tags HERE!
You cut them out with your scissors and use a standard hand operated hole punch to cut a hole into the top of the tag where the black dot is. Place your baked tasty treats or baguettes into some cute pink bakers boxes.
You then pull your ribbon through the holes in the tag, sign the tags, and wrap them around your pink tasty treats filled boxes.
You then deliver and gift the tasty treats to all your friends, family, and besties.
Anyone who gets these fun and uniquely wrapped treats will surely love it. Just like the tag says, tasty treats make me happy and they will make you happy too!
